The blue-grey cruiser tank skidded violently out of the alleyway, turning a full 180 degrees on the edge of the canal, a high caliber armour piercing shell tearing off the side skirts over the tank, before the aforementioned cruiser turned another 90 degrees and sped off to the left of the alleyway.

Said cruiser was being commanded by a brazen redhead from St. Gloriana's Girls Highschool, Rosehip, who had long since downed her tea and was currently yelling at the poor girl occupying the drivers position, long since used to this sort of abuse.

'Rosehip, come back'

Almost out of habit by now, the entire crew of the tank rolled their eyes, save for the hyperactive commander, who had begun the process of yelling at her driver again to move back to the main tank force in the town.

It was the first training match following the new rules of Sensha-dō, incorporating people of all genders and nationalities, and suddenly St. Gloriana found themselves fighting a new school they never had faced before, a new British Co-ed school, Rosebay College.

Darjeeling would never have admitted it aloud, but she was slightly nervous about this fight, completely unable to predict how this battle could turn out. Standing in the commanders position of the school's Mk VII Churchill, Darjeeling sipped her tea, looking out the cupola of the vehicle.

The heavy plates of armour meant that the mobility was somewhat limited, however Darjeeling didn't mind, considering the protection it afforded. Speed was for the eager and brazen, like Rosehip, who wished to speed through the rolling hills of the countryside battlefield they were on currently.

Darjeeling looked around, gazing at her formation of Matilda's overlooking the town in which the continual beating of rapid fire cannons was echoing from.

The town was a quaint little fishing village, complete with a small port and a town hall, a park opposite the town hall, which dominated the village skyline. A winding series of canals snaked through the village, one of the several dozen canals being where she lost contact with Rosehip.

All she could tell is that the College seemed to mix protection and mobility, in tanks such as Rosebay's Mk. 1 Centurion, of which Darjeeling found herself extremely jealous.

However she was more surprised to hear of, and later meet, the schools male Sensha-Dō commander, a person who only introduced himself as Anthony, dressed in British WWII desert fatigues and a beret

Their several Sherman Fireflies posed a large threat to the Matildas, and a substantial threat to Darjeeling herself in her Churchill VII.

Darjeeling was looking at the steadily advancing, under heavy fire from all of Gloriana's able tanks, dozen or so Mk VIII Cruiser A27M Cromwell medium tanks with not too much concern, sure, they pose a threat to her Matildas, but not the flag tank, her Churchill Mk VII.

She had been watching the College's Sherman Fireflies on the opposite ridge with some apprehension. They were armed with 76.2 mm cannons, similar to the 75 mm gun on her own Churchill, designed to kill Pz VI Tiger models, and it did its job very well.

Darjeeling has learned the hard way how dangerous it was during a match with Saunders, where Naomi's pinpoint shooting had knocked out the Churchill VII from a range of more than a kilometre.

A flag popped up from the top of the Matilda furthest from Darjeeling, the Fireflies had begun their bombardment, which left Darjeeling nothing if not a little worried.

Darjeeling ducked down inside the turret, closing the hatch behind her, glancing at Assam next to her. She took the radio headset from girl sitting next to Ruhuna, ordering all vehicles to withdraw to the forest clearing a few hundred meters southwards, before checking in with her sub commanders in the town.
