Namine's Heart

You start your day at Kingdom Academy like any other for the past two years. Slumped over in your seat with your head on the desk, you think of nothing other than how soon you can leave the wretched place. You best friends, Ventus and Sora, both come up to you.

"Yo, Y/N." Sora says.
"Hey, man." Says Ventus .
"Ventus, Sora. What's up?" You say lifting your head.
"Nothing serious," Sora says.
"We just wanted to know what you're doing after school. We were going to go to that new Karaoke spot." Ventus says. You put your head back down.
"I've got classroom duty," you sigh and sink deeper into the folds of your arms. "You may as well go ahead without me."
"Oh, that sucks man. But look on the brightside, do you know who else has classroom duty?" Sora says with a grin.
"No. But it doesn't particularly matter, does it? I'll just end up doing it by myself."
"Well I think you'll be happy to hear that The Golden Princess, miss Namine-chan herself will be there. If you I'm not mistaken it'll be just the two of you as well." Sora says.
"No way, Namine's gonna be there?" You mumble.
"Damn, you're so lucky, getting to Hang out with the golden princess after school. If you ask me we're the ones getting the short end of the stick." Sora says enviously.
"I think it's time we took our seat now Sora." Ventus says. "Y/N is clearly lost in thought."

You spend the entire day in anticipation of your coming classroom duty. As class goes on, you direct your gaze to Namine. Her silky blonde hair fell so graciously on her shoulders and her smooth, fair skin bounced beautifully when she spoke. Her fluency was outstanding. You admired everything, and maybe it was because of some emotional attraction, but you felt that she was everything you weren't and that by observing her you could somehow, vicariously obtain those qualities. Before you knew it, school was over. Once everyone had cleared out you began work on the class. Five minutes go by, no one comes. Ten minutes go by, no one comes. Fifteen minutes. Twenty minutes. Thirty, Fourty-Five, an hour. No one comes. You check the door one last time. No one.
"I knew it." You sigh, turning back to your work. Just as you began to lose all hope, footsteps followed by a voice appear.
"I'm truly sorry," they say. "I'd a few things to go over with the student council. I got back here as quickly as I could. I hope I can still help."
"O-Oh, w-well the floor hasn't been scrubbed yet. T-Though there is a mop...s-so..."
"That's just fine then." She says smiling.
"Oh, good." You say staring.
"But, um..." She says gripping her skirt and blushing. She turns her head away in embarrassment and then just moves her eyes to you. "Could you not stare so much? It's embarrassing."
"She's so cute!" You think.
"Anyway, we should get started. Could you help my reach this cloth up here?" She says from inside the utility locker.
"Sure." You say. As you approach her an the locker you trip and stumble into her taking both of inside the locker. Then the door slams shut.
"S-Sorry! I should have watched where I was going!" You say remorsefully.
"I-it's okay..."
"I'll get us out of here." You say pushing the door. "Huh? Why won't it open?"
"D-Don't, move so much Y/N-kun!"
"S-Sorry!" You say. "Crap! This is reeally bad! If anyone finds us in here I'll be labeled as the shifty deviant who assaulted the golden princess." You think. "How the did this happen?!" Just then, you hear footsteps and voices having a conversation. "I'm screwed!"
"Y/N-kun?" She says. You put your arm around Namine and pull her in with your hand on her power back. With the other hand you cover her mouth.
"I need you to be quiet, my reputation depends on it." You say looking her in the eyes. She's blushing fiercely, but you too panicked to notice. She pulls your hand from her mouth.

"I'm sorry..." She says blushing.
"F-For..?" You say nervously, your hand still on her waist.
"I...I'm enjoying this way too much!" She whispers excitedly, hugging close too you.
"W-Whaaaaaaaaaaat!?" You say shaking. The locker rocks back and forth an eventually falls with the door faced down. You are now laying belly up with Namine on top of you.

"Y/N-kun..." She says blushing and closing her eyes, preparing for a kiss.
"N-Namine..." You say nervously. The locker rolls over once. You and Namine come rolling.
"What's going on here? What'd you do to Namine-chan?" One of the girls says.
"Well this isn't what it looks like-"
"Yeah well we don't wanna hear it," the other girl says. "Come on Namine, let's get out of here before he tries anything else." The girls and Namine walk out and as they do Namine mouths: Sorry Y/N, smiling the whole time.
