Falling During Filming

Chapter 49

Jeff's POV

Skylar and I get ready to leave the house the next morning to go to the doctor's appointment before heading to the set later this morning today Dr. Carter was going to let us know if we would be staying here or if it was safe enough to travel back to New York. They were both still healthy and Bella was growing at the right pace but we were three months away from the due date so this was the determining factor, I didn't want to risk her or the baby it was just too much to try going home right now. If we stayed here until the two of them could travel I was more than okay with that it was peaceful here just like back home and Skylar had been seeing a doctor here so it would be crazy to fly back to Rhinebeck and have to find a new doctor who didn't know anything about Skylar or the baby.

Skylar's POV

I lay back on the small bed in the examining room while Jeff and I wait for Dr. Carter to come in, we had brought the dogs and Storm with us when the season started so we wouldn't have to worry about them, Jeff had someone to take care of the farm until we got back but I was ready to go back home. I knew we had to the farm here and I didn't want to risk Bella after we had tried for over a year to get pregnant, Dr. Carter opens the door and walks in "Filming winding down?" I nod then Jeff answers "about a month or two left." He nods then starts my check up and the ultrasound. I bite my lip nervously while Jeff and I wait once he's done he sits down on a small roller stool in front of us "Since I've been with you since the beginning of your pregnancy, and you're going to be extremely close to your due date I recommend you stay here in Atlanta." Guess it would be awhile before we went back to New York.

Norman's POV

I walk off the set after filming then walk up next to Skylar I notice her biting her lip nervously as she watches Jeff and Andy film their fight scene I laugh softly and squeeze her shoulder. "Don't worry you have nothing to be nervous about your man lives and Andy isn't going to hurt Jeff relax it's not good for you or Bella to Stress." She nods slowly then takes a deep breath her eyes never leaving Jeff as he moves around during the scene. "We will be staying in Atlanta until sometime in January or later so I can travel and Bella can be out." I nod I would miss seeing them every day in New York but it was the best thing for Skylar and the baby I understood that I turn then look over at her. "I'll come visit you and Jeff, call me whenever you do have the baby and I'll be there I'm not missing my god daughter being born." They were my best friends so this was something very important to me.
