A few weeks later Imani and Jayden were at the mall. Jayden hated to shop with women because they always take forever choosing things to buy. They were in Victoria Secret and Jayden picked up a pair of thongs and said, "Here." Imani looked at him and said, "I don't like thongs. Pick out some boy shorts." He asked, "Are you gone try them on?"

She said, "No." He looked at her and said, "Why? You need to see if you can fit them." She looked at him and said, "If they're my size then I don't need to try them on." Later at the house, Imani was in the shower, and Jayden was on the phone. "Yeah. I'll talk to you when I get there." he said, and he hung up the phone. Imani turned off the water and got out of the shower while wrapping a towel around herself. She opened the door and jumped a little and said, "You need to stop doing that."

He apologized and said, "I have to go." She asked, "Where?" "To the trap."  he said, shrugging his shoulders. She started to whine and he said, "I have to. I have business to handle." She asked, "Like what?"

At the trap, Jayden was smoking a blunt and said, "Yeah I have to figure out a way to tell her." Brandon said, "How about you go to prom, and make the night special for her. Then when the night ends you can tell her before y'all go to sleep. Then you can leave the next morning." Jayden thought about for a second and said, "That is a good idea, but I don't know why she wants to go to prom so badly." Brandon said, "She probably wants you to have fun for your senior year. Oh, did I tell you that I dropped out ever since I killed Common. It was that next day I decided to drop out." Jayden looked at him and said, "You so stupid. Why would you drop out?"

He said, "Shut up. I'm just playing, but I did get suspended." Jayden asked, 'Why?" Brandon said, "Because I've been tardy several times." Jayden nodded his head while finish smoking the blunt.

It was midnight and Jayden walked in the house high as fuck. He walked upstairs and went into the bedroom. Imani was laid out on the bed knocked out. Imani was a wild sleeper, but Jayden knew how to handle it. He took his shirt and pants off and got in the bed.
