Chapter 1

I was getting ready in my hotel room with my friend Olivia. It was our first night at the resort and apparently, this place turned into a nightclub, every single night, with themed parties and everything. We were looking amazing in our tight, short dresses and sky-high heels, hers white, complementing her tan skin, and mine black, making my pale skin and dark eyes pop.

We were going all out for the first black and white party and trying to make some new friends. Okay not exactly friends, we needed to find a 'friend with benefits' for Olivia because she had just caught her ex cheating on her, and she needed some revenge.

We walked into the party and stopped short. As we look around, Olivia lets out a soft "Damn". The space is amazing, it isn't even recognizable, what was the bar and sitting area earlier today was now a dance floor, with strobe lights, and smoke machines everywhere.

"There" I hear Olivia say next to me, and as I follow her gaze, I see two tall, tan, gorgeous guys. "I'll take the dark-haired one," she says, walking away, leaving me with the blondie, by far the most attractive of the two.

I make eye contact with him, almost feeling bad for the poor smiling boy. I don't date, I'm only here so that Olivia can have her chance with her Romeo, they've gone out to talk, leaving me to move in on him.

I place on a fake smile like it's armor, and go in for the kill "Hey, what's your name?" "Chase", he replies. "I assume that was your friend that Max went off with, wanna go make sure that we don't end up being godparents" This is odd, I didn't expect him to have that sense of humor. whatever, Olivia's distracted weirder guys for me, that's just what you do for your bestie when you've known each other since birth. "Sure," I say with a grin "but it's up to you to pull them apart."
