Naruto: New generation of rangers

Chapter 2: Abandoned village and discovery

After a few weeks of traveling, the group make it to a old abandoned village. They're just about to run out of food. They all look around and see the village has been abandoned for years. The buildings and houses are really old and they see an old castle. 

Naruto: Wow. Look at this place. 

Sakura: Yeah. This place must have been great back then. 

Taylor: I can't remember what this village was called, but it was famous back then. A great battle happened here and the village was lost. The survivors did win, but they had to abandon it. 

Thomas: It's a really sad story. 

Hinata: I heard homeless people come here for shelter. I don't blame them. 

Sasuke: Come on. We'd better see if there's a building still intact. It's gonna rain soon. 

They all nod and look around. Naruto spots a strange, but intact building on the left. He points at it and they all look. They all nod and walk to the building. Naruto opens the door and they walk in. They all look around and see the place is almost neat. But what really shocks is that there's a lot of weird stuff. Things they haven't seen before. The stuff is beeping. Strange lights on flashing on them. They see a glowing tube on the wall. 

Sakura: Where are we? What is this place? 

Sasuke: I don't know. 

Hinata: This place looks really strange. 

Naruto: Strange? This place looks really cool. 

Taylor: Do you think someone lives here?

Thomas: Someone has to be. I mean, look at this place. It's been cleaned recently. 

Naruto: Yeah. Let's look around. 

Before they could look around the place, lights flash around the place. Everyone covers their eyes. Then, the tube glows and a woman wearing clothes and a white veil on her face appears in it. They all uncover their eyes and look. 

Hinata: Who...who are you? 

Woman: Do not fear, young ones. I will not hurt you. I am Dimitria.

Thomas: Wow, you look beautiful...

Dimitria: Thank you, young one. I had known that you would find your way here. 

Sakura: What? You knew we were coming?

Dimitria: Yes. 

Taylor: But why are we here?

Dimitria: Destiny has brought you all here. The main reason why you're here is because you're following your poor friend, Naruto. 

Naruto looks at her with a shocked look on his face. 

Naruto: How did you...?

Dimitria: I can sense people's emotions. And I can feel yours. You wanted to run away from your family after they shown only love to your little sister. Naruto, you knew running away wasn't going to help. 

Naruto: (Shaking, sniffs) I was tired of being forgotten. It's like they never really cared for me...

Dimitria: Naruto, that is not true. What about your godparents? 

Naruto then thought of his godparents. He smiles a little. They did take good care of him while his parents was neglecting him. But he could only imagine how they feel right now when they'll find out he ran away from home. Sasuke and Hinata put their hands on his shoulders to comfort him. 

Sakura: So, you brought us here. 

Dimitria: Yes. While Naruto was neglected, you three have been there for him. And you all have been practicing your fighting skills. You have all shown great wisdom in your fighting. And you too, Taylor and Thomas. Even after losing your parents, you two have shown goodness to other people while traveling through the lands. It has come to me that you six have been chosen to be the next generation of the Power Ranger family. 

Naruto: Power Ranger family? 

Dimitria: Yes. Let me show you the history of the Power Rangers. Behold the viewing globe. 

They all turn around and look at the screen and watch. They've seen the first team of Power Rangers. For the past two hours, they've watched the entire history of the Power Rangers. From Mighty Morphin to Ninja Steel. After that, the viewing globe cuts to black. They all look at each other. 

Thomas: That was amazing. 

Naruto: Yeah. It was. Tommy was really great. 

Hinata: Yeah. And I'm sad that Zordon had to die...

Sakura: I am too...

Dimitria: I know. It was sad event that hurt our hearts. Zordon was a great mentor. And he will never be forgotten. 

Sasuke: But what does this have to do with us? 

Dimitria: You have been chosen to be the next generation of the power rangers. 

Taylor: Really?

Dimitria: Yes. All of you, come forward. 

They all walk to the tube and stand before her. She looks at them and they look at her. 

Dimitria: Naruto, Hinata, Sasuke, Sakura, Taylor and Thomas, the six of you have been chosen to be Power Rangers. I won't force you to do this. This is a decision you all have to make on your own. 

They all look at each other and think about it. After a few moments of thinking, they all look at Dimitria. 

Naruto: Dimitria, we made our decision. We want to do this. 

They can't see, but they can tell she's smiling under her veil. A door opens and she points at the door. They can tell she wants them to go in there. They all go through the door.
