‘So you know him! Brian Rosenthal.’

‘PIZZA’S HERE!’ Walker interrupted yelling from downstairs.

‘YAY! Food!’ Lauren squealed and we all ran to see a frightened pizza guy being “attacked” by the hungry boys.

‘Okay, so that’s 5 meat lovers, 2 Vegans, 2 Vegetarians and 1 margarita. That will be $80.’ Walker payed the pizza guy before I could chip in.

‘No, No. Ariel this is on us.’ Brian agreed.

10 pizzas later.

‘So Ariel, why did you move to Chicago?’ Joey Asked his mouth stuffed with pizza.

‘Well, I don’t really know… I just wanted a change. New York is so busy and hectic not that it’s a bad thing but living there, you get really stressed. So I came to Chicago. It’s a great theatre city and has that feeling of home that I enjoy.’ Joey nodded understandably.

'Do you like it?’ Jim questioned.

‘Well, considering I have been here for less than a day and got attacked waking up here… I would have to say I am not sure.’

‘Fair enough…’ Jim considered.

*Ding dong* the doorbell rang.

‘That must be Brian.’ Dylan left the room to answer the door.

‘Wait… hang on. Aren’t you Brian?’ I pointed to Brian Holden. Everyone laughed.

‘Yeah there’s two Brian’s.’ He shrugged.

‘Ohhh that makes sense!’

‘Ariel?!?!’ A familiar voice rang from the doorway. I turned around to see none other than Brian Rosenthal. My best friend standing there in shock.

‘BRIAN!?!’ I ran up to him giving him a big hug as he spun me around. We let go to look at each other, his hands still resting on my waist.

‘What are you doing here?’ Brian exclaimed.

‘Bit of a long story… wait, what are you doing here?’ My eyes never leaving his.

‘Um… I live here… Oh my god I have missed you SO much!’ He hugged me tighter.

‘As adorable as that is… How the Fvk do you two know each other exactly?’ Walker asked earning a slap on the arm from Lauren.

‘Oh my god you guys are oblivious. Think about it. Brian Rosenthal.  Ariel. Michigan. Best friend.’ Lauren looked at the boys.

‘Wait… Are you telling me that this is The Ariel?’ Joey wriggled his eyebrows at Brian R and he blushed. Has he talked about me before?

‘Of course it’s her! You boys are so oblivious.’ Jamie stated.

‘That’s why she looked so familiar!’ Dylan nodded understandably. Okay, no I was confused.

‘How do you guys know who I am?’ I asked.

‘Well it may have something to do with the fact that the whole 5 years I have known Brosenthal he hasn’t stop talking about you.’ Joey smirked

‘Ariel’s so funny! Ariel and I always used to do this. Oh did you know Ariel gave me this wristband. I miss Ariel. Blah, Blah, Blah.’ Walker imitated. Everyone Laughed.  I blushed. Has he really talked about me so much that his friends can recognise me? I looked over to Brian and saw that he was blushing too.

‘Alright. Very funny guys.’ Brian said sarcastically. Before returning to me. ‘But seriously, why are you here?’ We sat down on the couch and I told him the whole story.  How I came here for something different, how I got attacked and how Brian saved me.

‘WHAT?!?! ARE YOU OKAY? ARE YOU HURT-‘Brian checked my body for cuts and bruises; I have a couple but nothing too bad.

‘It’s okay Bri, I’m alright.’ I giggled at how frantic he was being. ‘Like I said, Holden found me and brought me here.’ He shot an appreciative look over to Holden, who just smiled. Brian scooped me up into his arms laying my head on his chest just like old times.

‘Uh- guys come on let’s give them some privacy to “catch up” and whatnot.’ Jaime took them all upstairs leaving just Bri and I (hehe that rhymes!)

‘Why did we stop talking?’ Brian asked.

I sighed. ‘I don’t know, I guess we both got really busy and one thing led to another…’

‘Hey, you’re still wearing your locket.’ Brian sounded surprised.

‘Did you think I was just going to throw it away?’ I half teased. ‘I told you I love it. “A little thing to remember you by.”’ Brian moved a strand of hair out of my eyes. I noticed something on his arm.

‘Hey, you’re still wearing your wristband.’

‘Did you think I was just going to throw it away?’ Brian teased back. I laughed

‘Okay, okay truce.’
