Behind Her Eyes

chapter 3

I walked, and as I walked I felt faces turn at me. Gosh I hate being new. I made my way into the canteen, but there was nothing I liked so I sat down at a table with four seats. This made be look lonely, but I was. I tried to mute out the mumbles and the stares around me by going on my phone. I got up Facebook, and there were 12 friend requests. One including the boy I seen before. His name was Logan. Logan Hawkins to be exact. I scrolled down his page and pressed on his pictures. There were alot of photos of girls, I guess there his friends. He liked to party, and he plays on the footy team. He also goes to the gym. I think I got a bit carried away, because I didn't notice the two girls sitting in front of me. I quickly hid my phone. "Hey, so we hear your names Gracie correct?" Said the blonde girl with beautiful, straight, long hair. "Yeah that's me" I replied with while studying there flaws, there gorgeous. The other girl looked at me and smiled "we hear your quite a catch, the boys like new meat" looking back to a table of jocks. This girl had brown Curly hair with green eyes. I just gave them an awkward smile. "Omg we are so rude, we didn't introduce our selves" said the blonde girl. "I'm Katie, and this is Georgia". I just gave them another smiled which seemed to make the room go quiet. "If you'd like you could come sit with us" Georgia said with a smile. She seemed nicer then Katie, but she was no where near as pretty. "Yeah okay" and with that, we got up at sat at the table next to the jocks. "This is my boyfriend Harry, And this is Georgias boyfriend Seth, so that means totally off limits" Katie said with a giggle that explained you go near our boyfriends and we will kill you. "That's Reece, James and of course Logan" I looked up when I heard Logan, and he gave me a smile and said hello. None of the boys really talked to me so I was okay with that, but they were all staring at me when they could. I didn't really have to talk because Katie and Georgia kept talking over eachother. I just kinda sat there, pretending to be interested in there conversation. But finally the bell went and I got up and said goodbye, Georgia asked what class I had and I said math with Mr Smith, Logan said he would walk me ther because he had the same class. "Your not much of a talker are you?" He asked me. "I just have nothing to talk about" and with that, we walked to the class in silence.

I decided to sit as far away from him as I could so if he stared I could see it. But he didn't. He kept his head in his book. It felt really lonely, everyone around me was talking and laughing, and I was just sitting there. Well that was untill the girl beside me said hello. We talked for the rest of the class and I found out her name was Bella-jane, but everyone called her Bella. She was really funny and nice. Katie and Georgia didn't like her because she was to much of a "book worm" as the bell went she asked if I wanted to go with her and her friends at lunch, I happily accepted.
We sat out on the oval, Bella, her friend Yasmin, and there gay friend Tobi. Who turned out to be really funny. I felt really comfortable talking to them. Yasmin asked me if I liked Katie and Bella, "I don't know to much about them, but they are not crazy and they gossip alot" and they all laughed. Yasmin looked like a Barbie doll. Way prettier then Katie. She had black hair in a bun, and a fringe, it suited her alot. Bella had her hair in braids and also had black hair, she was kinda pale, well alot paler then me. Bella and Yasmin both had freckles just over there nose. Tobi had short hair, which was brown, he had beautiful blue-grey eyes. He told me that the jocks were all Hungry for new meat, and for me not to let them have me. He made me smile alot, He called me beautiful, and always made funny jokes. Tobi walked me to my last class which was photography.
