Chapter 1: Rain's Overture

Part 1

-"We have being walking for miles!" i shout as loud as i can

-"We are obviously lost!"

-"Let's walk a little longer, maybe we would find something"

-"ARE YOU INSANE!? We are gonna die before we get......somewhere...."

He don't reply; Well,He CAN'T, He is clearly out of breath, and so i am. But he is right, we can't stop walking now......i mean, We are on the middle of the Desert!

How did i agree to this!?

After the monthly meeting with the Grand Council, the President called us to his office. The president have never liked those meetings, but for some reason he keeps assisting to them.

-" Do you guys have any plans for the weekend?" asked the prez

-" Not really, no" i said looking at Jaggo

-" Great, I'll send you guys to a last-minute ultra-top secret Mission"

" last-minute ultra-top secret Mission" That's the prez way of saying he wanted us out of the way. Well, it wasn't necessarily a bad thing. He always had a reason.....and WE were always the reason....

-"Excuse me Sir....but that sounded like you want to get rid of us...." said Jaggo

"Actually....." said the president grinning worried

-"The Council just reported me they will held a big Ball, and we cannot miss it, not this time" explained

This "Ball" The Council prepares is just an excuse to spread gossip and create discord between neighbor Nations.

Each time The Council held a Ball, the prez either skip it or goes alone. And the explaination for that is....

-"I get....." Jaggo

As the Vice-president Jaggo has the duty of assisting to this events always. But there is a tiny problem...Jaggo Hates Runan. Runan is our Twin Nation with which we have a LONG war record. Our nation Alvera, and Runan were one mighty empire once, but unfortunately we no longer are. And for reasons unknown to my understanding, Jaggo hates them; every single one of them.

Each time he sees people from Runan, he finds a way to let them know he hates them. And, as an ex-military man, he has many ways of accomplishing it.

Since The Runan Embassy usually assists to this things, Jaggo have to keep away from it.

.....So there is that.....

-"Please guys, i beg of you!" said the prez. He actually never beg us to do this so called "missions", and since he did it, i though he must had been very worried about that.

-"it's okay boss" i replied inmediatly -"we will do it"

I know Jaggo feels guilty about this things, so i usually do all the talking.

-"so, what we have to do?"

-"it's easy this time. You just have to retrive some papers" answered the prez

We have been doing this missions long enough to know that it is not as easy as he pictures it; there's always a catch. ALWAYS.

-"Oh, that's good. where are them?" i asked

-"Well...."

And here we are....standing in the middle of the DAMM DESERT!!!
