Ch. 20

Suah's POV

I walked to class and saw Minji in her desk talking to her friends. I confronted her and stood in front of her with my arms crossed. She looked up at me and smirked.

"What?" She asked.

"I told everyone. Satisfied?" I asked in an annoyed tone.

"Not quite yet."

"Now what the heck do you want now?!" I was already becoming annoyed with her.

"Break up with Myungsoo."

"WHAT?!"

"You heard me. Break up with him. Or else......the picture will be posted and will go viral!" I wanted to punch her. But my fists wouldn't listen. I clenched my fists and clenched my teeth.

"And if I break up with him, what difference would that make?"

"Well it would make a big difference."

"Let me guess. You're gonna date him, right?"

"Correct!"

"Fine.......I'll break up with him. As long as you don't ruin Myungsoo's career or reputation." I walked away and tried to hold in the tears that were going to fall any minute. I have to break up Myungsoo tomorrow.

That night, I couldn't sleep. The thought of me breaking up with Myungsoo disturbed me. I ended up crying myself to sleep.

I woke up and knew today was it. The day I will break up with Myungsoo. I went to school and waited for Myungsoo in the front. I paced back and forth looking for him.

"Jagiya!!!" I turned around and saw Myungsoo smiling. I will miss that smile. He ran to me and hugged me. I will miss his hugs. He pulled away and gave me a quick peck on the lips. I will miss his sweet kisses.

"Yah!!!! We saw that! Detention for both of you!!!!" Me and Myungsoo looked and saw the rest of Infinite.

"Aish! You guys scared me!" Myungsoo said.

"You know the rules. No smooching in school!" Woohyun said. The others laughed and walked into school. Myungsoo took my hand and said, "Kaja!" We walked together down the hall. I saw Minji glaring at me. I suddenly stopped and led Myungsoo near my locker.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Myungsoo-ah. We need to talk," I said.

"About what? The press conference next week?"

"Ani. We........we need to break up."

"What?"

"We need to-"

"Why?!"

"This.......this isn't working out."

"It is working out! Did Minji tell you to break up?!"

"Ani. Its because I don't really love you. I only pretended because you're famous and in Infinite. But I was getting tired of pretending. I can't really love you. I don't even like you."

"Suah."

"Sorry Myungie. But I'm done acting." I walked away from him leaving him shocked and confused. As soon as I got into the bathroom,I started crying. Tears fell from my face. Everything is ruined.

The next day, Myungsoo was avoiding me and glaring at me. Infinite stopped hanging out with me too. I felt depressed and lonely. I ate lunch alone on the roof and sat in the back alone. Infinite moved their seats away from me. I wanted to cry whenever I saw Myungsoo. But I held it in.

When I was sitting in my desk doing work, a piece of paper landed in front of me. I looked up and saw Myungsoo with his arms crossed.

"What is this?" I asked.

"A contract saying that you'll stay away from me," he answered.

"Seriously? Tch. Fine. I'll sign it." I grabbed a pen and signed it. After I was done, Myungsoo took the contact and walked away. He's cold again. I signed and went back to my work.

~~~~~~~ Press Conference~~~~~~~~

My sister dropped me off in front of Woollim Entertainment. Today was the press conference. I walked into the building and saw crowds of reporters and camera people sitting down in front of a stage. I saw some fangirls too. I stood in the back because there were no available seats. Suddenly there were loud screams and the flashes from the camera started going off. Infinite walked into the stage and introduced themselves. After that, they sat down and waited for questions. The reporters started asking about their new album and tours.

"We heard about the Secret Singer. Have you found her yet?" A reporter asked. Everyone went silent awaiting for Infinite's reply.

"Yes. We have found our Secret Singer," Myungsoo answered. Everyone gasped. "In fact she is here......right now." All of a sudden Minji walked on the stage.

"I'm the Secret Singer!" She exclaimed. Soon everyone started taking pictures of Minji. She went by Myungsoo. "Ahem.....I have something to say. Me and Myungsoo are dating!!!" Soon all the fangirls started screaming.

"Wait!" Myungsoo said. Everyone quieted down and listened. "I'm not dating her." Everyone gasped.

"What?! Myungsoo what are you saying?!" Minji Asked.

"You're a liar. You're not the Secret Singer. I'll tell you all who the real Secret Singer is!"

"Myungsoo.....don't," I whispered.

"She's over there." He pointed straight to me and everyone stared. "She's the Secret Singer.....and......my wife."
