I wake up with a jolt. I hear screaming. My crew screaming! I jump out of bed and shove my boots on. I look onto the deck to see only madness. Madness and rain. Mostly rain. The lightning was blinding, and the thunder was deafening. Everyone was running around like chickens without their head. My crew was going back and forth trying save supplies from falling off the boat. Mark was running around trying to give orders. Failing miserably, but it's the thought that counts. "Attention!" My voice almost louder than the thunder. Lightning struck behind me, which really caught the crew's attention. The rain stung with every drop, but I had to look composed for my shipmates. "I gave everyone orders like it was my jo. Well it is my job, but that's not the point. Through the insane rain I think I saw Mark's face. It looked a lot like admiration. That was the confidence booster I needed. I myself tried to gather supplies too, but only managed to scrounge up a few soup cans. My team wasn't nearly as successful as I was. Only one third of the crew got anything useful.
