We all went into the cabins to recuperate. It was about an hour until the storm settled down. Everyone went to their stations in silence.
It's been two days and moral is very low. Supplies are pretty much gone and all the cargo was lost in the storm, including the map. Only Mark and I knew about the map. The crew didn't need that kind of stress. Everyone was getting sea sick or depression, and let me tell you, that doesn't make a very good ship crew. But Mark and I couldn't do anything about it because we weren't much better. We all hit our limit, and everyone knew it. Mark told me he overheard some of the crew talking about suicide. But around ten o'clock, our prayers were answered! One of the crew members spotted a ship in the distance! All if the crew waved them down like mad. But I grabbed a flare I found while looking for extra supplies. I saved it just in case. Thank the lord I did! The ship spotted us and turned course to us. We were all ecstatic!
