What is it about ?
It's about Cat, a girl left blind by accident and Aaron, a boy adopted at a young age, who both share a common interest of music. When Aaron's band needs a new lead singer, Cat is their only option and as he is forced to tutor her, love sparks between the two.
Oh that sounds cute. How is it different from other romances ?
I see a lot of romances that are based on where the girl is inferior but this isn't the case. Although my character does seem inferior, she can be quite independent and she can do well. Also, I guess it's different in the sense that it's a little bit more realistic in the sense that it can relate to everyday dreams of a teenager, since many people want to be musicians.
I like it ! How did the title come to mind ?
Thanks and honestly, I came up with the title first. It just came to me and I guess it was because I love Ed Sheeran's songs aha. The plot came afterwards.
Whats the hardest thing when it comes to writing this story ?
When to use description and when to write about their thoughts is the hardest thing, I believe. This story is in third person so there should obviously be more description but it's hard because half of the chapters are written from Cat, the blind girl's, view.
Oh that does sound difficult. How did you come up with the characters personality ?
I guess I could say that Cat is everything I wanted to be, in terms of personality. She wants to be independent, intelligent, caring and musical. Henry, I knew had to be a selfless character because of Cat's blindness. It just seemed cute. I based Aaron off of a lot of book and movie love interests, mysterious but not completely flawless.
Did any authors inspire you when writing ?
JK Rowling definitely inspired me. I may not be a massive Harry Potter fan but her story was definitely something that got me starting to write. Also, Cassandra Clare because she writes in third person, just like I am doing for this story.
Whats one of your favorite books ?
My favourite book is Wuthering Heights because it reminds everyone that love isn't perfect and that sometimes, love can never win when there's greed and pride in the way. Little Bird is inspired by that as well, hence the names Catherine (Cat) and Aaron Heathcliff. It's like a story that never ends.
I see that's cool ! Name one of your pet peeves ?
Excessive swearing. I don't know, I'm not someone who swears to be honest so a lot of swearing just gets to me. I mean, I don't think there's any need for it.

I don't have one aha! Any brand that has really cute boots I guess.
