Babe's POV
It was a normal day at work and as usual Dub was being as extra as he could. Then kenzie all of a sudden kenzie says " hey Trip I think I may of found you a date to your prom" honestly this was the first I heard anything about a prom and I think Trip intended to keep it that way I have no idea why he didn't want me to know.
Later on when we were in his room alone I asked him about the prom but he kept avoiding it so did the only thing a girlfriend could do. I kissed him and said " pretty please I want to know about your prom" and of course he caved in.
T- I didn't wanna tell you cause I know I couldn't go with you.
B- oh well that makes sense.
T- maybe we could have a little prom right here ( he grabbed my hand) just you and me.
B- and miss out?! No Trip! Your gonna have to go with someone else. (I slapped my hand out of his)
T- But Babe I-
B- look don't ruin one of the biggest days of your life just cause I can't come.
T-fine but promise not to be jealous
B- promise
Me and Trip were at fooders having some lunch. Holding hands underneath the table and things like that. I really wanted to kiss him but couldn't so I just kissed his cheek but then kenzie came in and I panicked.
K- What mmh is going on here?
I had to think really fast
B- Trip has a booboo and he wanted me to make it all better.
T-yeah..uhh that's what happened.
K- ok then
We're all eating then trip caught attention of this girl. I didn't like her. She was rejecting him, one part of me was laughing cause I found it funny but the other felt sorry and confused. How could someone not like Trip? Trip was hurt. I could see it in his eyes. I knew he knew he had me but rejection is still one of the worst feelings. I tried to comfort him but I still didn't let kenzie see anything. Kenzie then said there was a hot girl at this table he could take with him. Really kenzie? I made a confused noise. Then all of a sudden Trip looked to me and said "Babe would you go with me" I give kenzie a look and shouldn't of. I just smiled at him, he smiled back at me.
I realised that going with trip could ruin our secret but we just told kenzie and Hudson that I was going so Trip wouldn't be there alone.
Me and Trip went shopping to get outfits. I kept trying lots of dresses, Trip knew I didn't really like dresses but he thought I looked beautiful in them. He saw I was uncomfortable.
T- you know I don't mind what you wear cause I know you'll beautiful in anything.
I run up to him and hug him.
B- your the sweetest.
I chose a black sparkle outfit and he chose a red one.
We walked into prom and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. After a while of being there I just couldn't handle trip talking to that girl. So I went over to them and asked if I could borrow Trip I took him to the bathroom.
I looked away from him and looked annoyed while he just stood in front of me.
T-Babe you ok?
I didn't even nudge
T-ok I know what will make you better.
He got his phone and played a song. He took my hands and placed them around his neck and pushed my face towards his . He then placed his hand on my waist and and started swaying and giving me funny looks. I cracked a smile and then started to sway with him. He turned me around. I giggled.
B-isn't this a bit weird?
T- us being together?
B- no, well yes. We've known each other for a couple of years. And we were the best of friends. Yet here we are dating, dancing, kissing.
T- we aren't kissi-
I kissed him and all the reason why I like him came running through my head. That's when I realised I loved him. ' I love trip'. We stopped kissing.
" I love you"
He just started at me in shock. What if he doesn't love me bac-
