*ding dong*

It was six o'clock and I really didn't want to get off the couch because I was in the middle of a nap. But then I remembered that Nash was coming to pick me up at six, so I forced myself off the couch and starting walking towards the front door. When I passed the mirror on the wall, I quickly fixed myself so that I wouldn't look like I had been sleeping for the past two hours.

When I opened the door Nash was standing there with a single red rose in his hand.

"For you my lady."

"Why thank you." I smiled and walked with him to his car closing the door behind me.

"So where are we going exactly?" I asked shutting his car door and strapping myself in.

"It's a surprise." He smiled

"Oh gosh." I said sarcastically

The drive was actually quite nice despite the fact that we didn't really say anything to each other. I was just listening to the radio watching out the window to see where Nash was taking me. We were driving on a little road away from town in the middle of what looked like a field of grass. It was feeling very peaceful when all of a sudden Nash went off the road and started driving down a dirt path.

"Whoa. What are you doing?" I asked him.

"It's okay babe I know what I'm doing." He put his hand on my thigh. I still was pretty nervous though. We could get in trouble for this or we could get lost. After a couple minutes I started to calm down a bit. Then Nash stopped and parked the car right by some trees that led to a forest.

"Alright we're here!" Nash said

"And where is here exactly?"

"Oh well we're not actually here here. There is a little more walking to do but this is as far as I can drive us." He extended his hand out to me as if to ask if I was coming. He seemed like he knew exactly what he was doing and I trust him so I took his hand and he started leading me further down the path.

We were walking for a couple of minutes and I was really enjoying the scenery when Nash suddenly stopped walking and made me bump into him a little.

"Okay, close your eyes." He said

I closed my eyes and held my hands out so Nash could lead me in the right direction.

"Okay, almost there. Watch your step. Couple more steps." I was listening very careful making sure I didn't fall or something.

"Stop!" Nash said. He didn't tell me to open my eyes yet so I kept them closed. He let go of my hands and moved to my waist positioning me to face something I guess.

"Okay open your eyes.....now!"

I opened my eyes and stared in awe at what I saw. In front of me, there was a little stream that turned onto a waterfall at the end and there was willow trees surrounding the area so it was closed off. There were flowers and big rocks, like the kind that you would want to climb all over. It was so beautiful I was speechless for a moment. I turned around to Nash and I was going to tell him how amazing this place was but instead he was standing in front of a blanket and a basket.

"What's this?" I asked while I was walking towards him.

"A picnic. For my beautiful girlfriend." He flashed his perfect smile and it almost made me melt. We sat down on the blanket and I watched as Nash pulled a whole feast out of that blanket.

"Nash this is amazing. I really love it."

"I'm glad you like it here."

"So how did you find this place anyways?" I asked while eating one of Nash's sandwiches.

"After my parents died I got mad and I ran away. Not seriously run away but I was little so I thought I was actually running away. And I was wandering through the woods and fell through the leaves of the trees, and that's how I found this place."

"Oh, wow. Well it really is beautiful Nash."

"Yea I know. This used to be my secret getaway spot."

"Well what is it now?" I asked.

"It's our secret getaway spot."
