PLOT:
Adeline is trapped in a dream state. She can see creatures no one else can and her mind is constantly in a swirl of imagination. She barely remembers her family, who dropped her off at Eichen House on her tenth birthday after she screamed at her mother for not seeing the rabid werewolf eating her birthday cake. All Adeline can think about are the supernatural creatures that comfort her during times of stress.
She is entranced by Stiles Stilinski, who enters into Eichen House with the idea of removing all remnants of the Nogitsune from his body. She can tell there's a darkness inside of him and she's determined to find out his story.
Stiles is transfixed by the beautiful girl who wants to know his past. She has a thirst for knowledge and after his body succumbs to the evil spirit, Adeline slowly falls in love with the person who wishes to destroy everything in his path.
And they said she was crazy.
SUMMARY: Adeline can see multiple creatures — werewolves, Berserkers, kanimas, wendigos, etc. — in her mind. She can picture them inside of her room, telling her stories or simply staring at her. She believes that they're her heroes coming to rescue her. Her family has given up on her after constant visits with no avail. She falls in love with Stiles because she loves the darkness around him. She loves the chaos he brings and the fear. She wants nothing but to be by his side, assuring herself that she's not crazy. She's just in love.
