Once we get home Mimi goes into full on vice principal mode.

She starts giving me assignment after assignment in the kitchen. I would have thought she would have picked up that this was my first time cooking ever.

But I guess I was doing an amazing job because my tasks just kept getting more difficult.

We went from "How the fuck do I peel a potato" which I successfully figured out to "Which is basil and which is thyme?" I was still having minor difficulties. Why the fuck aren't they labeled?

I had never been happier than when Luke and Morgan walked into the kitchen at that moment.

"Hey sweetie!" Mimi exclaims walking away from the stove to hug Morgan. "How did the tryout go?"

"We have a little soccer star on our hands, babe. The first five minutes on field and everyone already knew she made the team. She was fastest on the team with the best reflexes. It's hard to believe she isn't a werewolf."

The whole time Luke rants I'm staring at Morgan faces. She's beaming with pride about the way Luke is complimenting her.

"That's is the most amazing thing in the world," Mimi beans just as wide. "Yay! I'm officially a soccer mom now!"

Her reaction has the rest of us cracking up with laughter.

"Now you missy," she says to Morgan. "need to go shower and I need to get dressed. Luke help Avery finish up in here until I come back, okay?"

There's no room for argument as she marches up the stairs with Morgan right behind her.

Luke shakes his head with a laugh at his wife.

"What does she have you doing over here?" He asks pulling up his sleeves.

"What's basil and what's thyme?" I ask desperately.

Luke starts laughing again until he sees my expression. "Oh, you're serious."

It takes us about 10 minutes to determine which is which. Only because Luke and I both refused to taste them so we had to base it off smell.

I'm pretty sure we picked the right one for the chicken.

I finished up the potatoes, vegetables, and salad while Luke took control of cooking the chicken. All he had to do was put it in the oven though I do not know how to work the oven so I am relieved he did it. I probably would have forgot to push start or something.

Finally, almost an hour later Mimi comes back downstairs dressed very nicely.

"I need to change," I groan

"I need to change," I groan. Now I need to look through my closet and decide how to do my hair and-

"I laid out an outfit for you," Mimi interrupts my thoughts. "If you don't mind."
