Chapter 40 - Family

I moved my body to the other side and felt someone sleeping beside me. I don't need to open my eyes to know who's beside me. I slipped my arm to Dylan's hips and I moved closer to him. I felt him kissing my forehead.

"I miss you." I said.

"Miss you too, how's your 2 weeks without me?" He asked and I buried my head to his chest. I shook my head.

"I miss you so much.. Facetime is definitely not enough." He said and I smiled widely.

"I know.. What took you so long to come home? I'm lonely." I said and he caressed my head.

"The problem was really serious, we can't go home right away. I'm sorry for making you wait." He said and I hugged him tighter.

"I miss you so much.. you said you will come to me if I said I miss you and I said it almost every second when we're facetiming each other but you didn't come." I hissed and he chuckled.

"I'm sorry love.. I will definitely run to you next time." He kissed my cheek.

"I like it when you say that." I smiled.

"Love?"

"No.. the other one." I said and he kissed my cheek again.

"That's my promise, Lauren."

"I know.. I can't even imagine living my life without you. I really turn myself into a clingy woman." I said honestly and he hugged me tighter until I can feel his heartbeat against mine.

"I like it when you're being clingy. I love it."

"You're the best thing that happened to me and two weeks without you.. it's just.. unbareable." I sighed and tears came out from my eyes. 2 weeks without him being beside me makes me so lonely and it's just weird. We did facetime each other but it was not enough.

I know I sound like a pathetic girl but.. you'll one when you find the one. 2 weeks is equal as 2 years for me.

"I know.. Please don't cry."

"I'm not crying." I hissed as I smacked his chest playfully.

"I know you too much, Lauren. You can't hide anything from me. You're like a walking diary for me." He said and I buried my head to his chest more.

"There there.. don't be sad. I'm here, aren't I? You can keep me here for days if you want." He said.

"Can I?"

"I want to keep you here forever." I said and he kissed my forehead.. down to my eyes.. my nose and then my lips. I put my hand on his cheek to deepen the kiss. I opened my eyes and I looked into his brown eyes.

"I love you." I said and he smiled widely. He crashed his lips to mine again. Suddenly I felt that I need to pee, I pushed him.

"Where are you going?" He grabbed my wrist.

"I need to pee, Dylan. I'm not going anywhere. Today you and I stay in my room!" I said as I pointed my bed. He smirked and I winked at him. I got up from my bed and walked to the bathroom. I did my business, washed my hand and then I looked at the mirror.

My hair literally everywhere and I decided to tie my hair. I pulled up m.. what the?! I opened the door and looked at Dylan blankly. He's sitting on the edge of my bed smiling widey at me.

"Well.. at last she realize it.." Dylan smiled.

"You.."

"What?" Dylan raised his eyebrows and tilted his head a little. I was speechless and he chuckled looking at me standing there like an idiot.

"Come here.." He gestured me to come to him. I walked to him and he pulled me to him by my waist. I looked down to him and he rested his head on my chest.

"You said it earlier.. that you want to keep me forever.. then keep me forever." He said and I turned my eyes to the ring that he put on. I don't even know when did he put it on my ring finger.

"I am speechless." I said and he looked up to me.

"Don't tell me that you will say no.." He said and I looked at him blankly.

"Lauren.. are you seriously going to say no?" He asked in a really shaky voice. I wanted to laugh so much seeing him like this.

"Excuse me! How can I say no? Of course.. I will say yes! I want to keep you forever!" I squealed and hugged him until we both laid down on the bed again.

"Thank God.."

"My baby!" I squealed as I hugged him tightly.

"Lauren.. can't breath!" He patted my back and I let him go right away.

"Sorry." I said as I got up and sat on him. I looked at the ring and smiled widely. I literally can't contain my happiness.

"You're so not romantic.." I turned to him and looked at him bored.

"Oh come on.. I'm an action type of guy, I'm not good with words." He said and I leaned down to give him a peck on his lips.

"I love you, Dylan." I said.

"I love you more than you love me."

"You have to or else I will kill you." I said and he chuckled.

"Lauren, let's go-" We both turned to the door to see my dad looking at the both of us speechless.

"Get off him!" My dad said and I raised my eyebrows.

"Hey Luke.." Dylan waved at him.

"Lauren.. get off him!"

"What do you need, dad?" I asked as he looked at Dylan coldly.

"Let's go watch the Avengers together.. the two of us." My dad turned to me with a sweet and happy face. I turned to Dylan and he nodded letting me go.

"Can we ask Nicholas to join?" I asked and Dylan looking at me confuse.

"Why do we need to ask Nicholas to join?" My dad asked.

"Because we're family." I smirked as I looked at Dylan. He chuckled.

"Family? Huh?" My dad asked and I turned to him. I got off Dylan and I smiled to him.

"Let's call Nicholas and ask him to watch the Avengers together." I said as I linked my dad's arm.

"What's with you?"

"I'm going to marry her, Luke." I felt my dad's body tense. He turned his head to Dylan. He looked at him disbelief and I showed him my ring. My dad was looking at me and Dylan speechless.

"What? No!" My dad said after he process everything in his head.

"Yes, daddy. Let's go watch the Avenger together.. you me Dylan and Nicholas." I said as I dragged my dad out. I turned to Dylan and winked at him. He chuckled.
