I looked at what has just determined my fate in horror.
No. This cannot be right. This has to be fixed or something.
Zandy knocked on the bathroom door. "Is everything okay in there?"
Opening the door, I stared at her in horror. Then held it up so that she could see for herself. Shock registered on her face.
"No." She whispered.
I was still too shocked to say anything. So I just stood there like an idiot.
"But who?"
"I don't know which one." My voice was raspy as I spoke.
"Oh my God Eliz, what if it's-"
"I don't know, but I really don't want to think about it now. This is enough as it is."
She nodded her head in agreement. "So what are you going to do?"
"Honestly, I don't know. I've never even imagined this happening."
"I know what you mean. I wouldn't have either."
"Yeah, so do you think that I should just pretend that I don't know or something?"
"No! Karma will just come back to bite you in the ass later. Just tell him when you're ready."
"Are you sure?"
"Positive."
Despite the seriousness of the situation, I let out a little chuckle.
"What?" Zandy asked, confused.
"You just used a pun."
At first she was still confused, but then after ahe thought about it for a minute, she got it. As Zandy laughed, she shook her head like I was just too unbelievable.

"Ben, I need to talk to you. It's serious." I got up from his lap, and sat next to him.
When he tried to scoot closer to me and kiss me, I stood up. This is serious.
Now Ben is confused. "What's the matter babe?"
I sighed, he wasn't exactly making this any easier.
"I...well I-I-I'm... it's just that... I-I-I..." God, I probably sound so foolish right now.
"Yes?"
"I'm...I'm...I'm..."
Ben stood up and put a hand on my shoulder, reassuring me.
"You can tell me anything Eliza."
"I know," I sighed.
"So, what is it?"
Placing both hands on my belly, I replied, "I'm pregnant."
Ben didn't look surprised as he covered my hands with his. "Whose is it?"
Panicking, I didn't even think before replying. "Yours."
Having this out of the way, Ben now actually looked happy, and maybe even... excited?
"This is great! We're going to actually have a family!"
"No! This is most certainly not great! I'm still in high-school, remember?" I am on the verge of having a panick attack. My voice was already filled with hysteria.
"So?" Ben seemed innocent as he asked.
"So?" I cried out. "So I'm going to have to drop out of high-school to become a mom! I'm going to be stupid for the rest of my life and I'm never going to be able to get a job!"
"You'll never be stupid Eliza. Don't ever say that again. And so what if you're not going to finish high-school?"
"Easy for you to say, you're a senior." I mumbled.
He continued as if I hadn't spoken. "Plus, do you really think that you're going to need a job when you're married to me? And if you're really worried about it, then we can always hire you a tutor."
"Married?" I screamed out. "I'm not even 18 yet! And you want me to do nothing but watch a whiny baby for the rest of my life? Well news flash, I'm not going to!"
"Eliza, calm down, that's not what I said. You're overreacting."
"Overreacting? I'm not overreacting, you're underreacting. Do you even know what this all means?"
"Well ofcourse. But I'm willing to give up anything and everything for you and our baby."
Something in his voice and words calmed me down.
"Okay Ben. I trust you." Maybe everything will be okay.
Shane is in jail, where he rightfully belongs, Ben and I are back together, I figured out the mystery, and best of all, Ben and I are going to have a family.
Things may not be perfect, but this is certainly good enough for now.
