True Love: A One Direction Fanfiction

Chapter Three

As soon as I get up, Skye and Carder are rushing me around. We all end up standing in Skye's bedroom, staring at about three different outfit options each. My choices are a strapless red dress that falls a little past mid-thigh that flares out at the bottom with some plain black heels, a silver sparkly dress that is fitted tight all the way to the tops of my knees with sleeves that end at my elbow, with some red heels, my last outfit is a strapless royal blue dress that has a train that falls to the ground. The dress flares out above my knees, the outfit is finished with some rhinestone pumps.

We finally decide on what to wear, I choose the first outfit. I decide to start getting ready. I go into my bathroom and brush my teeth. I curl my long, brown, naturally straight, hair into regular, not to tight and not to loose curls. I slide the red dress over my head, it falls freely down to a little past my mid thigh. I put my makeup on, it's not too crazy, a natural look with some eye-liner and a little blush. I slip on my heels and walk out of my room into the living room.

Carder and Skye look so pretty! Carder has on a baby blue dress that has little straps and fits tight all the way to where it ends, at her knees. She is wearing nude pumps and her hair dark brown, naturally curly, hair is straightened and flows a little past her shoulders. Skye has on a light purple tight dress with cupped sleeves, her long blonde hair is natural and straight. Finishing off her outfit she has on dark purple pumps and a diamond clip in her hair.

We all compliment each other and leave the out the door with our tickets in hand to catch a cab. When we arrive at the concert arena we are early, very early, like five hours early, but Skye said it was a surprise. We can see the boys being rushed in the side door. As we walk in, the boys are practicing on stage they all look so beautiful and they are just so talented. We take our seats, front row, center stage, and watch the boys. Their energy is outstanding. As they are practicing "More Than This" Niall starts his solo. He walks up and his eyes were directly on me, he comes to the edge of the stage, leans down and as he sings we stand there face to face. When he finishes his solo, he grins and winks at me and runs back to join the other boys in the center of the stage.

About three hours before showtime the boys finish practicing. Liam, Niall, and Zayn go backstage, but Louis and Harry come down the stairs on the side of the stage. They walk towards us.

Harry smiles at all of us and says "Louis which one are you dating? Because all these ladies are extremely beautiful."

"This one here." Louis says as he takes Skye's hand, showing her off, "This is Skye."

Louis then looks towards Carder and I and introduces us. Harry smiles and shakes our hands. Harry holds on to Carder's for a few seconds and looks into her eyes. I smile, thinking to myself, "What is up with the One Direction boys falling for my friends?" Louis gives Skye a peck, and then asks us to follow him. Harry leads, Louis and Skye hand-in-hand behind him, then Carder and I in the back.

As soon as we are out of earshot, Carder turns to me and exclaims "Did you see that? I think Harry and I just had a connection!"

I nod in agreement and reply "Yeah, Skye and Louis, and now you and Harry? It's kind of surreal isn't it?"

We both laugh and continue to follow the group backstage. We get to the boy's dressing area and Niall, Liam, and Zayn look up and smile. Zayn walks up and gives Carder, Skye, and I each a hug. Liam walks up and we introduce ourselves.

Shortly after,  Niall walks up to me and I say "Hey I'm Kendall."

Niall smiles really big and says  "I'm Niall."

I laugh and say "Yeah, I know I've had a massive crush on you for forever and I've fangirled over you since your X-Factor days."

We both laugh and Niall smiles at me and blushes. We all hang out, talk, and tell jokes until showtime. Louis and Skye are inseparable. Harry and Carder are flirting majorly and holding hands, and me, well I'm just sitting there. I look out of the corner of my eyes and I see Niall, again his eyes are locked on me. He walks up and asks if he can sit by me.

I say "Of course."

He smiles his beautiful white teeth shining, his blue eyes sparkling.

He leans forward whispers in my ear and says "Did you mean it when you said you have a massive crush on me?"

Looking into his eyes I say "Yeah, but don't all of your fans?"

He laughs and says "Well I guess some, a lot of people send me hate, then I have a lot of supportive fans,  but there is something different  about you, and for some reason I can't keep my eyes from you, and I am a sucker for your big brown eyes, that's why I like looking into them."

I laugh, giving him a kiss on the cheek. He blushes, and reaches for my hand, just when the manager comes in and tells them "Thirty minutes until showtime!" He smiles at me, kisses my hand, and leaves with the other boys. Skye, Carder and I head out the door to our seats, ready for the concert to begin.
