You were in defence against the dark arts with Professor Lupin and the rest of the class. He was teaching you about boggarts. You whimpered slightly and asked Lupin if you could sit out.

He shook his head and smiled at you with kind eyes. "I'm sorry Y/N but we all need to face our fears at some point." He gestured for you to get into the line which was forming.

You sighed as you got in the queue, behind the cute Irish boy. Seamus you thought his name was, you couldn't quite remember. You were acquaintances at best.

It was Seamus turn next. To say the least you were shocked when you were staring at your own corpse. He muttered riddikulus and moved to the back of the room with watery eyes.

You tried to put the pieces together, but you couldn't. You stood in front of the bogart as it took form. Then he came out. Your drunken father yelling and swinging a bottle around. You coward slightly as you cast the spell.

You held back the tears as your friend, Ron came to comfort you. He held you in his arms and rocked you back and forth. Lupin didn't quite know what to do wit himself. He apologised gently and dismissed the class. For the rest of the day you clung onto Ron or Harry or Hermione's arm.

Later Hermione started taking to you about Seamus boggart.

"He probably likes you Y/N." Hermione told you ecstatic with excitement.

"I doubt it." You replied.

"Whatever I'm going to bed." She told you, and left you with Dean, Seamus, The Twins, Oliver and a few others. They all seemed to be crowded round someone.

The room was silent. Until a certain Irish voice spoke up.

"I fucking love the girl an- and she doesn't ev-en know I exi- exist." He sobbed. It was heartbreaking to hear. But being the curious being you are you listened for more.

"Why cant she see it?" He whispered to Dean.

Dean was telling Seamus about how he should man up and tell this girl how he really feels.

You sat in the corner oblivious to what was happening. Until you managed to piece everything to everything together. Your eyes widened slightly. The Seamus Finnian loves me out of all the people in the world. You admit that you loved his cute accent and the way his bright eyes sparkle when he gets happy. The way he explodes stuff is funny. Wait Y/N what are you thinking. You cant be in love with the Irish boy.

You faced the facts. I'm in love with him. You thought.

You felt particularly courageous at this point. What's the point of being a Brave Gryffindor when you aren't going to take chances.

You got up and walked over to the sofa. Everyone's mouth turned into a perfect O. You sat down next to Seamus.

"Sooo who's the lucky girl?" You questioned, although you already knew the answer.

"No one." He sulked. Fred and George looked at each other and then glared at Seamus.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Seamus Finnigan is in love with Y/F/N." The twins spoke up in unison.

You pretended to gasp out of shock and placed a hand mockingly on your chest. "No" You said sarcastically.

"Wait you knew?" Dean asked. You shrugged.

"Since you aint gonna say nothing... Will you be my boyfriend?" You asked Seamus.

He looked at you in shock and bewilderment. Before nodding silently. Everyone cheered and you wiped his tears off his face.

"Now don't be so silly, you numpty." You laughed before bringing him into a hug.

He placed a palm onto your thigh, not in a sexual way but more of a comforting loving way.

Everyone ran upstairs leaving you two alone in the comfortable silence.

You then placed a kiss on his nose and placed another one on his forehead, then his cheek.

He sighed happily and nuzzled into your neck.

"My heart is on fire for you. Along with a few other things." He stated.

You giggled slightly as you placed a gentle kiss on his lips.

"It's always been you, ya know." Seamus told you.

"Really?" You questioned.

"Mhm." He hummed as he placed a kiss on you lips.

You spent the rest of the night with Seamus whispering sweet nothingnesses in your ears.
