*Camari's pov*

"GET UP BITCH" she yelled standing over me. I was continuing to hold my cheek in pain. The whole school gathered around us and looked at me.

I was getting lots of stares and a few giggles. I felt the tears brimming to my eyes but I refuse to let her get the satisfaction of seeing me hopeless.

I took my time standing up. Time I was able to stand correctly, I felt her punching me. She kept aiming for my stomach.

People were recording the fight while laughing.

I never fight but for once I actually did something. Without any hesitation, I shoved her off of me.

She stumbled back quickly but tried to run back to me. I covered my self preparing for the worst but it never happened.

I looked at her to see Jack holding her back. Savanna and Maci ran up to me.

"What the hell Ellie!" Jack said as he slightly shoved her out of his arms. "Jack just stay out of it" she said as she tried to charge at me again but was caught.

"You need to control your girlfriend... oh I'm sorry, your ex" Savanna said and the whole hallway echoed with "oohs".

"She's not my girlfriend, I wish she never was" jack said as the hallway got louder. Where was the teachers.

Jack started to walk up to me but Ellie stopped him.

"Are you serious , she just broke us up and your gonna take her side!" She said. He started to look in different directions ignoring eye contact with her.

"She didn't break us up, both of us did" he said motioning his finger between them. "But I-" she said before she was cut off.

"We both cheated on each other so it doesn't matter anymore, to think that I actually wanted to make things straight with you" he said.

I felt another hand on my shoulder and I looked up to see Lexi.

"yeah, I cheated but I didn't cheat with my sisters best friend" she said. The whole hallway was loud as she stomped away.

Jack looked back at me with a worried face. "Camari what is she talking about" Lexi said and I sighed.

"Yes me and your brother kissed but-" I said before she cut me off.

"What the Fuck! And you didn't tell me?" She said. "It was just a kiss, it didn't mean anything!" I said.

As soon as that came out my mouth, I knew I messed up. Lexi shook her head and walked away.

Pretty soon all the people in the hallway started to leave. "So the kiss was nothing" I heard jack say.

"I didn't mean-" I said.

"It did mean something to me, I wished it did to you, you sure made it seem like you liked it" he said and walked away.

I lost my best friend and my crush at the same time.
