Betty's pov
It was the first day of senior year and I was a nervous wreck. I was so worried about seeing everyone after the summer. I quickly did my ponytail and and ran downstairs.
"Honey wait eat your breakfast!"-said my mom Alice
"Mom I have to get to school I'm so nervous." I said I'm a nervous tone
"Sweetie you will be fine school isn't as bad as people claim it to be you will be fine." Alicia said "Just be the best you and I promise nothing will go wrong okay?"
"Ok mom I love you."
"I love you too honey."
I quickly hugged her good bye and ran out the door. My friend Veronica lodge always gives me a ride to school so she was waiting for me out front. Veronica has been my bestfriend since the second grade. Her boyfriend is Archie Andrews who is also my close friend. I've never been so crazy when it comes to boys. I haven't been on that many dates in my life and I don't feel bad about it.
"Hey Veronica! How was your weekend?"
"Hey B, it was good. Me and Archie went to this music festival in a few hours away. We had a good time."
"That's great V I'm so happy for you guys"
"Thanks B I love you."
"I love you too V"
By the time our conversation ended I had made it to school riverdale high my shit show. I really didn't like it here but it's my last year and I think I can make it threw the year. I look at my schedule and I have home room with my cousin Cheryl. I love Cheryl but she can be a real bitch sometime.
I look in the room and I saw Cheryl I sit next to her she told me about her summer and how she spent it with her girlfriend Toni. I was barely paying attention. I was more thinking about how the school day was gonna lay out.
Class starts and we all go silent. "Hi I'm Ms. Burke I'll be your tea-"
The teacher got cut off and in came this mysterious boy I'd never seen before. He was one of the most attractive people I had ever seen. He had a leather jacket on with a shirt that had an "S" on it. He also had this weird crown like beanie. Instantly I was intrigued.
"Sorry I'm late." He said in a hurry like he didn't want to interact with the teacher.
"You must be Forsythe Pendleton." Ms.Burke said
"It's jughead actually."- He said with this haunting voice. He was breathtaking.
"Alright Jughead. You can sit next to the her. Elizabeth is it?"
"I go by Betty" I said nervously
"Alright Betty. Jughead will be sitting next to you."
He walked over to me I could feel my heart thumping. He was incredibly attractive. He had raven black hair similar to my friend Veronica. He walked towards me. Our eyes met for a second but then he went to sit down. He had these beautiful eyes that almost made me faint. He made me want to know him more.
When Jughead sat down he looked at me with a little smirk on his face.
"Hey." He said
"Hi." I said incredibly terrified. He looked away. It was obvious he didn't want to be there. I couldn't help but stare at him. I wanted to get to know him some how.
