Chapter 7: Hangout

Grace POV

Buzz Buzz! Buzz Buzz! "Aaaahhh! Im still tired"i said while trying to open my eyes.I opened my eyes and looked at the window not that far from my bed, I can see that its already bright outside.
I checked my phone and looked who texted me"Oh shoot!" I said while reading the text

Ashley:"Hey Grace! Good morning! I hope your bike is ready: )"

I rushed through my closet and picked my gray hoody,black T-shirt and my black leggings.I run to bathroom and have a quick-quick bath.
Once im done putting my clothes on ,i run downstairs luckily mom cooked breakfast already. I eat my breakfast while not listening to what they're talking about."Done!" I said while standing up from my seat"Why are you in hurry?"my mom said but i didn't answer.
I rushed through my room and grab my backpack.I put a two packs of chips on my backpack and ofcourse how can i forgot my phone.I run downstairs and luckily mom is still there, while Olivia is in her room and dad got to work."Mom! I-uh Ashley ask me out to the park today. Can I come? Please pretty please!"i said while checking my watch- wait a sec i don't have a watch.

I saw Mom's face turns into a her teasing face. I exactly know what she's gonna do"No Mom please don't-" I said while trying to cover my mom's mouth"Olivia! Come down here for a sec!"She said while teasing me"Yes Mom!"Olivia said while running downstairs and scrolling up and down on her phone."Oh no" i said while i sighed"Olivia guess what? Ashley ask Grace out!" My mom said while trying to stop her laugh"Oooohhhh! My sister have a date" Olivia said while a little smirk appearing on her face"Ugh! It's not a date! Can i go now?" I said while giving them my annoyed face"Yeah yeah! Just be safe okay?" My mom said while she patted my head gently "I will! Thanks Mom!" I said while running through the backyard and grabbing my bike.I sat on my bike and waited for her to come.I checked my phone and it's already 8:07 and she's still not here yet.

Ashley POV

Its currently 6:34 in the morning now and i decided to text Grace

Me:"Hey Grace! Good morning! I hope your bike is ready: )"

I waited for her reply and it's been 30 minutes since i texted her and i still have no reply so i decided to take a bath downstairs.I picked my white sweaters and dark blue skinny jeans.I run downstairs and quickly take a bath.Once im done putting my clothes on, I run out of the bathroom and I saw April cooking breakfast"Ash! Breakfast?"she said while handing the plate with bacon and eggs again"Thanks April! Im going out in the park with a friend now, that's why im in a bit rush" i said while eating the food she gave me.

I run upstairs and grabbed a two canned soda and I put it in my backpack along with my phone, but before i put my phone in the bag I checked it first, and i still have no reply.I run my way downstairs and waved to April before going out of the shop.

I grabbed my bike and quickly hopped onto to it.I biked fastly through my way to Grace's house.Once I arrived on the front of her house i saw her there just sitting on her bike.She so beautiful with that blue eyes of her, with her gray hoody.She catched me looking at her and my heart raced and my cheeks started to heat up, i looked away from her and started getting closer to where she was.

"Uh-Im sorry im kinda late, but thanks for waiting" i said while playing with the pedal of my bike"It's alright! Shall we go?"she said while getting her bike ready"Yeah!Follow meeeeeee"I said while I biked the way through the park.

Grace POV

Im here biking on the road and still following the beautiful girl driving in front of me.Her brown hair floating in the wind, she's just driving her bike calmly and looking on the trees and houses that we pass through.Her warm smile makes my heart race and make the butterflies in my stomach crazy.She looked back at me and i feel my cheeks heat up.She smiled at me and I smiled back.

We arrived at the park and we got off our bike and walk with it.We sat on a bench"Grace I wanna show you something! Come!"Ashley said standing up and grabbing her bike.She walked into the tall bushes and im not sure where we are going

Im out of the bushes now and I saw a beautiful garden there's a lot of beautiful flowers in it and beautiful tree where she put her bike on."Grace! Put your bike here!"she said while pointing to the place where her bike is."How do you know this place? And why is there's no people here?"I said while seating beside her under the tree"I just discovered this place when I was angry at everything and I just wanna be alone.I run and run while im crying untill I found this place.There's not much people knows this place because they're scared of going through the tall bushes"She said with a kinda serious tone"This is my secret place.I go here when I was sad or something" she said while laying her head on the tree"Thanks for taking me here"I said while laying my head on the tree"This is now OUR secret place.You can go here whenever you want"
"Really?! Oh thank you" I said while looking at everything.I pointed my eyes on her beautifully perfect face, her pink kissable lips is everything.Im still staring at her when she catches me and my cheeks suddenly heat up. She just smiled at me and of course i smiled back.

Ashley POV

Im here now at my secret place with Grace Vanderwaal! Oh jeez! I can't believe this is happening, this is not a dream dude!
Im laying my head on the tree now and im kinda hungry.I looked at Grace and I catched her starring at me, i think she was, but i saw her blush for some reason and seeing her blush like that makes my heart race.

"Are you hungry? Coz I am" i said while grabbing my backpack and opening it. I grabbed the two canned soda i grabbed from the rooftop lately.Grace grabbed her bag and get her Chips"Yeah! Let's eat im kinda hungry too"she said while opening the chips.

We both are done on eating our foods and It's kinda quiet right now.We didn't talk to each other since we're done eating.
"How's life?"she said
"Good! How's yours?" I said
"Not so bad. But im happy now." She said while picking up the empty can of sodas
"Happy? why?" I said as I help pick up our trash
"Oh nothing" she said while smirking a little
"Did your crush confess on you?" I said with a playful tone but deep inside it hurts to say that.
"No! Why would you think of that?"she said in confused look
"Nothing! Don't mind what I said" i said while not looking at her.
"It's alright! How about you? how's lovelife?" She said while giving that weird smile, But its cute!
"Uh-Grace! Can I tell you something? Just please, promise me you won't freak out."What the heck am I doing?! But I need to tell her, its now or never.
"Yeah! You can tell me everything"She said while sitting closer to me
"I-uh-I like girls! Im gay"I said while getting ready for a disgusted look came up to her face, But i didn't see a disgusted look unless i saw a smile.What!? that is freakin weird!
"There's nothing bad about that.Actually we're just the same, only my family knows that."She said while patting my shoulder

What!?OMG!! She's with girls too!!? I smiled as I look at her.This is not a dream!
"So are you into someone now?" I said while still thinking what just happened"Yeah! She's beautiful and her smile is everything.I just met her and I like her already."she said happily
Oh! So she likes someone else, that hurts."Well she is lucky!" I said while pretending im fine with it, but im not,im hurt inside.
"Well how about you? You're into someone now?"she said and her smile fainted away.
"Yeah! I've known her for like months now and sadly she likes someone else" i said while pointing my eyes on the ground.
"That's sad"She said as she looks at her phone.
"Should I take you home now?or you wanna stay here for a while?" I said as i pick my backpack from the ground.
"Yeah! I should probably get home now coz i have to do my house chores, and yes even if im famous i still do house chores because we dont have a maid!" She said a she pick up her bag and grabbed her bike.I picked up my bike and walked with it.
"Do you wanna hang out at my place?I want you to meet mom and Olivia, is that fine with you?"she said as she follows me through the bushes.
"Yeah that would be great!" I said as i hop onto my bike

We bike our way to Grace's house...
