Alaska's P.O.V
The sun is beaming in through the window as I wait for Conor to wake up. He'd most definitely been awake during the night and I sigh as I think about how much he'd struggled lately.
His insomnia had always been a problem yet with a lot of things coming up, such as the cover album and the release of "Catch me here" had it simply gotten worse.
I don't think I've ever seen him this tired before, his body just about functioning in the day.
It'd been a couple of weeks since I had my mental breakdown over the abortion and even though it still felt tough at times do I now tend to keep those feelings to myself, not wanting to worry Conor.
I'd gone back to feeling down and mentally drained. Just over all tired. Still with Conor struggling had I just pushed it to the side, ignoring the voices in my head that kept telling me I wasn't good enough.
It looks like it's going to be a lovely day today and even though I know it won't happen do I innerly wish that Conor's got time to come with me down to the river to shoot some pictures.
Shutting my laptop do I sigh, neither of the boys being up made my morning extremely boring. Usually we went out for breakfast together but that doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon and I'm literally starving.
Luckily I'd picked some things up last night on my way back from work so that I'd be able to have some yoghurt and a glass of juice at least.
"Morning"
I turn around just as I'm about to pour some tropical juice into a glass, Jack's topless torso brushing against my back as he goes to grab a glass from the cupboard.
"There's yoghurt in the fridge if you want some"
He nods grumpily, his eyes rimmed red.
"Is Conor up?"
His voice sounds strained, almost a bit hoarse even though the time is half eleven.
"Noop, why?"
I sip on the juice, the sweet taste making it feel like actual summer.
"Nothing, just wondering"
He sinks down in the sofa, throwing his feet up on the coffee table in front of him.
I sigh, leaving Jack in the living room to go up and check on Conor. Usually he'd be up by now but then am I not sure if he slept anything tonight.
"Bubbs?"
The room is stuffy, the smell of boy welcoming me as I open the door.
"Mm"
Chuckling do I sink down next to him, pushing his messy hair away from his clammy face.
"You gonna leave the bed today or?"
Shaking his head does he smile cheekily, his cute face making me melt inside.
"Is it nice outside?"
I nod, taking a sip from the water bottle that he had standing on his bedside table.
"I thought about maybe going down to the river to take some photos"
He pushes himself up so that he's sat next to me on the edge of the bed, his hands rubbing his puffy face.
"Fucking hell I'm tired
I sigh, stopping myself from giving him an unnecessary comment about how he should try to go to bed earlier. It just doesn't work that way.
