When Tony Stark had brought in strange Greek relics to Bruce Banner, it struck the scientist as odd. The millionaire was ecstatic, however, claiming that they had apparently held importance to his family, yet it was the first time he'd ever seen them. A big mystery, Tony had said, one he couldn't wait to unveil. Tony had simply asked him to look over the relics, try and reveal the ancient writing, told Bruce it would bring him immense joy. Bruce was never one to rob his friend of joy, even if it was over something so simple a stupid, so he agreed.
Now, this is what he expected, translate the Ancient Greek to English as best as he could, test the actual body of the relics to find what time they came from. You know, regular, day-to-day things! He did not expect to find a golden light emit from one of the relics and, once it subsided, for a woman to be lying on his lab table. After the shock weared off, his anxiety came in. The woman looked to be knocked out cold, and his mind traveled to the worst possible thought, that she was dead. However, he was quick to notice her chest moving up and down at a normal pace, signaling that she was not dead.
Quickly, he rushed forward, trying to lift the woman off the table. Bruce Banner was not the strong, perhaps the Hulk could lift her off, but it would be too dangerous to let him out, especially here, so he instead moved everything away from her. Once the table was clear and she was in no way to do any harm to his equipment, he began to look over her. There was no way she would not suffer from any injuries, she just came out of a vase for Petes' sake! Still, no matter how hard he looked, no matter what machinery he used, he could find nothing wrong with her, in fact, she was in perfect and healthy conditions!
He slowly backed away from her and plopped down on a chair, watching her with wide eyes. He let his head slowly fall into his hands, "Oh God, what the hell? Okay, okay Bruce, everything is going to be okay. It's just a woman. On your table. Who is unconscious...?" He stood up, quickly, causing the chair to fall beneath him. "Friday!"
"Yes, Mr. Ban-"
"Tell Tony to get in here!"
"Of course, Mr. Banner." He practiced clenching and unclenching his fist, trying to calm his breathing and anxieties. Hell, no one can blame him! There's an unconscious woman on his table, a very attractive one at that.
"What's up, my...?" Tony stopped short, seeing his friend is such a frantic state. His eyes trailed away from the anxious scientist and to the woman on the table. "Whoa, who's this?" He asked. Bruce quickly turned to him, his eyes almost bulging out of his head.
"I don't know!" He cried, throwing his hands in the air, then running them through his hair. Tony slowly walked over to Bruce, putting his hands on his shoulder and quietly telling him to calm down. Once Bruce had calmed down some, they returned their attention to the raven-haired woman.
"Explain what happened." Tony prompted, watching and then following Bruce she rushed up to the table. He quickly picked up a vase, one littered with ancient writings and drawings.
"Okay, so, I picked up this vase, and was getting some samples of the clay, right?" Tony nodded, indicating he was listening, "And then I put it down, right here," He then proceeded to place the vase down, "Then I came over to the microscope and as soon as I got over here, I heard this rattling sound and when I turned around I was blinded by a golden light and then," He pointed to the woman, "She was there!" Tony watched the woman, trying to match everything that happened to something scientifically possible, but came up with nothing.
