“Fratello! Get your ass out of bed and do your fucking chores for once!” He yelled at the ceiling knowing that was where Feliciano’s bed was on the second floor.

“Why so cruel to your hermono?” A man said waking into the shop.

Lovino didn't even turn around as he was heating a blade he was working on for a friend of his grandfather.

"It's a family business bastardo. Read the fucking sign. 'Vergas Family Blacksmith Shop'. Nonno has passed so its up to the two of us to keep this place running. What do you even want anyways?" He turned around to see who he was talking to and regretted saying anything.

"Did you call me a bastard? Do you know who I am?" The man said sounding irritated.

"S-Si.... You are Captain Antonio Fernández Carriedo.... Why.... Why are you at my shop?" Lovino said for once not knowing what to say.

"I thought you said it was a family shop?" Antonio said mockingly.

Lovinos face flushed in anger. "What the hell do you want 'all mighty Antonio'?"

"So you know me, who are you?" Antonio asked in  creepily kind tone.

"Lovino.... The middle child." Lovino mumbled. Antonio smiled in amusement.

"I'm going to call you Lovi~" Lovino groaned.

"No. Only Feli is barely able to get by with calling me that. And what do you want already?" Lovino said irritated with hearing the name.

"I want you to fix my ax," Antonio said setting his ax on the counter that separated the two.

Lovino picked it up and looked at the large crack in the blade.

"Hm.... Well I can fix it, but I'd have to smooth it down after and it would be a smaller blade in the end, or I can take this broken blade off and make a new one. Your choice." He said setting the ax back down on the table.

"Remake the blade, small blades are not good at breaking skulls." Antonio said like it was a normal thing to say, for him it was normal, for Lovino.... Not so much.

"Okay then...." Lovino said very worried for his skull now.

He took the blade out of the ax and tossed it into the reject pile but missed.

"Fuck." Lovino mumbled and picked it up actually getting it in the pile this time.

He ignored Antonio watching his every move and continued to work on the new blade.

~about two and a half hours later~

Lovino was just about to finish, and went and dipped the blade in the quenching oil. He did it too soon, the blade was to hot for the oil and flames engulfed the ax and his whole arm.

"FANCULO-" He yelled this time and dropped the ax on the ground and poured water on his arm to try and sooth his pain.

It did not help.

Antonio rushed over to him and looked at Lovino's burn. "Here, you wouldn't want that getting infected would you amigo?" Antonio said and took off his shirt and wrapped it around Lovino's arm.

Lovino was blushing madly as he saw Antonio's toned body and he just couldn't get enough of it as he kept staring at him for a minute. But because he's more stubborn than a mule he just ran into the back room and tried to calm down and tell himself he's not in love with men like his brother and that German potato Lovino despised.

He calmed down and walked out to find Antonio looking at the almost finished blade that just needed to be sharpened. Antonio was about to walk out because he knew how to sharpen a blade he didn't need someone else's help.
