Rory shook London awake at 4:26.
London looked up and smiled at her twin sister and their mom.
"Happy birthday, my darlings."
London hugged Rory and Lorelai pulled them both in a hug.
London pulled both of them to lay down and cuddle.
Lorelai kissed both of girls foreheads.
"I love you both, so much."
Twins smiled.
"We love you too, mom."London and Rory smiled as Luke decorated table for twins. There were two balloons and a cake.
London smiled at Luke.
"Thank you."
Luke smiled at twins. He loved them both like daughters.
Twins sat down and tried their cake. London moaned at the taste.
"This is the best cake I ever had."
Rory nodded in agreement.
"Best birthday ever."
Jess walked down the stairs and glanced at London.
Rory smiled at him and waved.
Jess walked to them.
"Happy birthday."
London smiled.
"Thank you. Would you like to join us?"
Jess sat next to London and took a bite of the cake.
"It's good."
Rory nodded.
"I know, right?"
London looked at him.
"So, do you have anything planned for tonight?"
Jess shook his head.
"Not that I'm aware of."
Rory grinned.
"Great. We are having a small party. You should come. Luke is coming too."
Jess smirked.
"Sure thing."
London smiled at him and Jess felt his heart beat faster. No doubt he liked her.
He stood up and waved.
"See you tonight."
London and Rory waved.
"See you."That night, their house was full. London smiled as she opened the present from her mom.
It was a Hemingway compilation of stories.
London gasped and looked up at her mom.
"This is amazing! I love it! Thanks, mom."
Lorelai kissed her head. She heard doorbell and went to open the door when she saw Luke and Jess.
"Hi, come in."
London looked up and smiled as she saw Jess.
"Hi."
He nodded and sat across from her.
Jess couldn't take his eyes off London. She was smiling and laughing. She looked beautiful. Her head leaned back as she laughed. Her eyes sparkling.
She suddenly looked at him and their eyes locked.
London blushed at his gaze. She was sure she liked him.Jess sat next to London as they sat on the porch. Jess pulled something from his jacket and gave it to her.
London looked at the box and then up at Jess.
"For me?"
Jess nodded.
"Of course."
London smiled softly at him.
"You didn't have to."
Jess smirked.
"I wanted to."
She opened the present and gasped.
Inside was a ring with a pink diamond on it.
"It's beautiful, Jess. Thank you."
Jess smiled slightly.
"No problem."
London sighed and put the ring on her finger. She looked at it and smiled.
"It's perfect. You didn't have to buy me anything."
Jess laughed.
"It's your birthday. It's the rules."
Luke walked out and smiled at London.
"Goodnight, Lonnie. Happy birthday again."
London grinned and hugged him.
"Thank you, Luke. Goodnight."
Jess turned to her and leaned down. He placed a soft kiss on her cheek and London felt her stomach swirling with butterflies.
"See you around, Lonnie."
London smiled.
"See you, Jess."
