I sit there on the bench, my long platinum hair all disheveled.
My breath could be seen as I exhale slowly, the cold wintery night wrapping around my small frame.
I pull out my phone, opening up a message. My thumbs glide across the screen easily, as they tap out specific letters.
tae:
i hope you know i'm sorry.
and that ill miss you
i hope you'll miss me too

A small smile curls on my lips as I notice all my capitalization mistakes.
I set down my phone beside me, my darkened brown eyes looking up at the empty rails that sat a couple feet away from me.
I lower my eyes down to my body, looking over my last minute outfit.
An oversized pink fluffy sweater. Black leggings. Black sneakers.
So simple.
I stand up, walking over to the rails and standing in the middle of it.
I could hear the train from a distance.
I look down the tracks, seeing a small light slowly growing bigger and bigger.
My breath hitches as I think about the last seconds I had.
I closed my eyes as the train's wheels scream at me to move as it tries to stop itself.
It was deafening, but I didn't raise my hands for a second to cover my ears.
"Tae!"
I hear a couple of voices scream my name, all of them belonging to males.
Belonging to 618. My family, specifically.
I hardly turn my head to face them, as my lips curl into a small sad smile.
"I'm sorry."
