I arrive home to see that gabbie and Tate had already arrived at my house to celebrate with me and my family since there family's were working.
"hey honey how was graduation?" my mom asked giving me a hug when I stepped in the door.
"it was good, I'm happy it's over" I said excited for summer.
"as you can see from the moving truck outside, was have new neighbours, I invited them to come over for dinner tonight as a welcome to our town" my mom explained. Great, now I have to meet someone else, hoping they are nice I respond with a simple 'okay'.
I ran upstairs to get ready for dinner as Tate and gabbie talked with my parents about high school next year. We were all pretty excited about summer break but we're nervous about the year to come. I finished getting ready dressing into this:

I walk down stairs and everyone looks at me.
"uh honey, are you gonna show our new neighbours how well you can play the piano?" she asked gesturing toward the grand piano in the corner of the living room. My father got me that for my birthday 2 years ago and ever since I've always played it in my free time.
"sure" I answered. I hear the doorbell ring. As I answer the door I look up to see the guy I ran into at the Starbucks.
"welcome" my mom said behind me as I gestured him and his family to come in. We all walk to the living room and sit down on the sofa getting to know each other. I was in the kitchen helping with dinner when my mom came in.
" are you gonna play the piano or do I have to make everyone's ears bleed?" she asked. And yes that's how bad my mom is at playing. She isn't the best so I usually play for her.
"ill be out in a second" I answered dropping the peppers I just cut up into the home made spagetti sauce. I walk out into the living room with her when she told everyone I was gonna play. I sat on the bench and soon before I started to play the boy I now knew as Zach- the guy I ran into at starbucks- sat beside me on the bench.
"have any requests?" I asked looking at him looking ready to play anything.
"can you play 'Little Things' by One Direction?" he asked. I Nodded and started to play. As I played I sang and he joined. He was a good singer. Better then what I would have imagined. When I was done dinner was ready so we all moved into the dining room and started eating. Soon after zach and his family had went home and gabbie and tate spent the night. We all got ready and headed off the bed.
