PS. I also wanna take time to acknowledge an awesome writer whose book I can't get enough of!
@LakishaButterfly13.. I love your work and this chapter is for you

I spotted Lucas in the coffee shop and went straight to him. I was welcomed with a huge bear hug that just took the last of my worries away.

"Cupcake." Lucas said with a breathy voice.

"Hey." I really don't know what to say to him right now.

"What the hell happened? At the party. I heard they found cocaine and--" I stoped him, not wanting to hear the dreaded story of my demise.

"I was framed Lukey..." I begin to speak, the tears at the brink of escaping my eyes.

"Someone spiked my drink and put that coke in my bag. I promise I would never--" I am cut off.

"Hey," Lucas says as he cups my face in his hand.
"I believe you, I know you would never do this."

"But they don't, Lukey. They.... Don't." I feel the tear roll down my cheek as I say this.

"Who's they?" Lucas says, not fully comprehending my previous statement.

"Them.., the board, my mom..." I say and just fail to keep myself together.

Lucas pulls me closer to his chest and puts his chin on my head, letting me cry on his chest.

"It's gonna be okay cupcake. I promise it is. And hey," he lifts my head and tilts it so as to meet his gaze.

"At least you'll have me, right?" I don't say anything and just nod, burying my head back into his chest.

It was the highlight to my day.

He always was anyway.

Just then, I heard the door to Creamers open, and the clicking of heals that made everyone's heads turn caught my attention.

It was Beth. God strike me now.

I couldn't let her see me like this. She found out about my hiding spot. The one place that gave me asylum from life's problems.

She soon walked passed Lucas and I, giving me a huge scowl and sashaying her way to the table opposite us. Stefanie soon comes in, deriving a little less attention than her best friend.

"Umm.. Lukey?" I look at him and he senses the tension.

"Yeah umm, let's get out of here, how about that?" He says as he gives me a sweet smile.

And with that, we were out of Creamers.

It was the worst and most dreaded horror story ever known to mankind, and it was back to haunt me yet again...
