Sherlock entered his apartment with John trailing behind him. He put his black coat and scarf on the coat peg and John followed.

Sherlock walked over to his chair and sat down. John walked over to the windows and pulled the khaki green curtains, leaving the room dark, with only a little ray of light coming in from various sources.
