Terran Sweets was a ghost among men. A survivor of the failed Wolf Spider Program, the male equivalent of the Black Widow Ops Program, he had escaped without a trace, inventing a new name and a new identity, desperately searching for the normal life that had poisoned his dreams for so long. Living with runaway mutants and human experiment subjects like himself, he found a family in the wayward and the forgotten, finding solidarity and solace by hiding in plain sight, living a normal life with some dabbling on the side; once a weapon, always a weapon, it seemed, even if he was supposedly a failed subject.
Having been on shaky terms with S.H.I.E.L.D. for quite some time, he had agreed to aid the organization in their high risk missions if it meant immunity for his makeshift family, which was how he found himself wrangled into yet another mission, one that hit far too close to home: locating Niko Constantin, the supposed only successful trainee in the Wolf Spider Program, and eradicating him by any means necessary.
Paired with the only other person who would have any clue as to what he had been through, Terran found himself racing back to the past that he had be running away from with a woman holding a future he was running toward.
