Minato Namikaze chuckled weakly as tears landed on the piece of paper on his hands wishing he could have changed the way things were.

flashback

"SHE HAS HURT ME HIT ME AND YOU DON'T EVEN BELIEVE ME!!!!"Naruto Uzumaki yelled at his father.He had recently married a girl named kana and at first Naruto was excited to have a mother figure back in his life but that excitement didn't last long when kana came home drunk one night and began to beat him uo.Naruto thought it was only a one time thing so he didn't tell anyone about.But the beatings continued each one breaking him until one night she took it to far and raped him.Naruto had burst and told his father of the beatings only to find out he didn't believe him and accused him of making things up for attention which is how we get to this scene.

*SLAP*

"NARUTO UZUMAKI GO TO YOUR ROOM!!!"

"FINE BUT KNOW THIS I HATE YOU"

Minato froze at that Naruto had never told him that he hated him not even when he was going through his rebellious stage at age 11. what if he was telling the truth? NO kana would never do that would she? he would have to find t out the truth.

"Bye Minna-san thanks for letting me leave early"Minato yelled at his fellow employees.and began his walk home.when he got there he froze why was Naruto screaming? he followed the sound to come across his room the screams louder than ever heart pounding in his chest he begam to open the door when he came across a sight he didn't ever want to see again there in his bed kana was beating naruto with a whip calling him names like 'slut' or 'whore' minato didn't want to believe what he saw he paled when he realized something.his son was telling him the truth oh god why hadn't he listened? now his poor baby boy was in pain all because he didn't believe him what had he done?

the next day minato went to his son's room to apologize when he came apon a sight he never wanted his baby boy to do to himself tears welling up in his eyes minato sobbed like the day Kushina died you have figured it out haven't you? Naruto Uzumaki was dead cold lifeless eyes were staring at minato as if accusing him telling him this was his fault 

*flashback end*

a few minutes after minato found his dead son he found a note on his bedside table

the note read

Dear dad

I guess you have figured it out huh now before you go blaming yourself I will tell you that it wasn't your fault it was kana's you know it was bound to happen sometime so don't go telling yourself you could have stopped it we both know that's a lie anyways enough about I am in a better place know you all those things you said you wanted to tell mom before she died? I will tell them to her another thing I am sorry for telling you that I hated you I don't I love you alright/ Mom and I both do so if you don't take care of yourself properly I will come back and haunt you from the grave mom will haunt you too so take care
