It was her.
He was sure of it, or it could just be his imagination that conjured her up again, 'cos he sure had made that mistake many times in the past 7 years. But it was Alyssa Greene all right, he was sure of it this time. Her golden-brown hair shone against the sun, he couldn't see her eyes from the angle he was but he knew it was going to be sea-blue eyes that makes a man-especially him-want to dive into it and never come out.
Her lush pink lips would taste of cinnamon, oh, he knew that and the fact that her hips were shapely molded to fit into his palms, and those long, long legs that just goes on and on forever. He hasn't seen her for seven years but he still knew she was the most caring, loving, passionate person he had ever and will ever meet. Ask him how he could be so sure of that, and he'll just say it was his gut feeling because he hasn't spoken a word to her in 7 years. He was sure forgiving wasn't an attribute she would want to extend to him right now which should give him the cue to turn around right now and pretend it was his imagination, and not his dream come true but he still found himself walking towards her. He sighed in defeat as he started walking. He was a fool, he knew that but it didn't stop him from walking towards her anyway.
He came to an abrupt halt when he saw where she entered. "Mindy's Baby Store"?,what was Alyssa doing in a baby's shop. He tried to search his brain back to the last time he saw her. Nope, he was definitely sure she wasn't pregnant, it was probably for her sister's new baby. Well, he thought, if there was a good enough reason to talk to her, he had one, he was asking after his neighbor, that's all, he kept on repeating like a mantra. He pushed the door of the store open, walked up to her,
"Hi Alyssa".
