Hey! This story got into my head after watching MANY MANY MANY videos on Youtube about Parallel Universes and Time Travel and Doublegangers and such...i know i know...most people don't believe in those things but i found them interesting and a great conversation topic to debate on.

Anwen had just returned from her college classes and it was already dark outside so she stepped into a dark apartment.

She quickly opened the lights on while her gut told her that something was off, she instantly smelled the air and held her breath to hear for any sounds that would indicate that something was wrong.

Nothing.

Yet she felt on edge as she did what she normally does, get undressed, cook something to eat, take her pills and take a nap. Then wake up at 10 pm and get started on her essays since she works more efficiently at night for some weird reason. Then wash the dishes and get the laundry ready to put it the next day since it's too late for the washer's noise.

As she walked out of the bathroom she saw a shadow in her house, she instantly froze in fear.

"Who's there?" She called out in fear as she took the hair dryer as a weapon and instantly her mind flashed back to the defense classes her and her dad had gone to when she was younger.

"Don't!" The shadow exclaimed but it was too late Anwen had hit him/her in the head with the hair dryer and then instantly kicked him/her to the ground. She then proceeds to grab the kitchen knife from the dishes they were drying on the counter.

She held the knife to the neck of the hooded person.

"HOW DID YOU GET IN? I HAD LOCKED ALL DOORS AND WINDOWS AND I'M AT THE FOURTH FLOOD HOW DID YOU CLIMB IN?" Anwen yelled at the person as she held him at knife point.

When she didn't get an answer she yanked the hood off him only to see a brunette guy with brown...you can also say they might have been black eyes.

"Sorry! I didn't get inside this house by any door or window! It's complicated...really!" The young adult man said in an angry tone as he pushed Anwen off him.

"Then how did you get it and don't tell me you teleported because my godfather owns a psychiatric ward...I can get you locked up like this!" Anwen said threateningly as she snapped her fingers before his face which made him blink at her.

"Okay, okay! But it's the truth...I did teleport in here...by mistake...sorta...It was dare!" The young adult said guiltily and Anwen started laughing at him.

"Seriously? And you expect me to believe all this crap?"

"Well...it's the truth." The young adult said in an attempt to get his message across but failed since Anwen reached for the landline phone and started dialing the police's number.

Instantly the young adult's eyes widen in fear and launched at her yanking the landline phone and smashing it to the ground then they were locked in a staring contest.

"THE FUCK?"

"NO ONE CAN KNOW!"

They both exclaimed together.

"WHAT?"

They exclaimed again in union.

Anwen then did what only came into her mind she punched him breaking his nose and seemingly knocking him out.

Then she sat before the seemingly knocked out youngster and had a mini freak out since the kitchen clock showed 3 am now.

She quickly run to her bedroom where her phone was charging and reached for it not long before she felt cold hands wrapping around her ankle yanking her to the ground. She then yelled bloody murderer when she saw the young adult that supposedly was knocked out dragging her away from her night stand and phone.
