The Principals Daughter (Completed/minor editing)

Daniel's POV:

It had been 4 weeks since she was missing, 4 weeks without her laughing by my side. I sat inside my room and waited.

I needed her with me, but she was no where to be found,she hadn't called texted, or left us any clue as to where she was. I just needed to know that she okay. The police had been looking but I knew they could do more they hadn't found her, it's been 4 fucking weeks. I stopped going to school skipping to try and help find her I'd looked everywhere, and right now I was at the park where she loved to go when she was upset I looked at the carving of our names and it broke me,I needed her.

I climbed up inside the tunnel and sat there with my legs in my chest thinking about her and the memories we had shared:

I got out of my car and ran up to the tunnel and I heard her crying "he's not worth your tears, princess, I'm coming up"

A reached up the ladder and climbed in and sat down beside her in the tunnel she laid her head on my shoulder and we were silent she didn't say anything like why couldn't you help me. We were just there, and at that moment that was all I really needed.

I sighed then she said, "god I feel like such an idiot"

I chuckled making it echo through the tunnel and her lean closer then I said, "Harper your not an idiot, he's an idiot for missing out on someone as beautiful as you"

She smiled and it made me want to jump up like an idiot , "thanks how did you even find me here"

"Yesterday you said it was your favorite place to go to think"

"Wait how did you know what happened"

"Well I saw him run out like his ass was on fire then when I went outside he was looking for you he told me what happened, and I told him I'd look for you and now here I am"

She sighed, "do you think he did it on purpose"

"He probably didn't think you'd be watching"

"But why, why would he lead me on then dump me off like that"

"He told me that she came onto him but, knowing him he's probably lying and he probably meant to kiss her because even if she kissed him he sure as hell didn't stop it"

"That's true, we should probably get back to class, but I really don't want to see him"

"Well you don't have any classes with him so you should be fine, meet me at my car after school"

Me and Her climbed out of the tunnel and I grabbed her hand, she  didn't say anything, but she didn't have to because just like before her touch exile rated me and it was like I needed it but I didn't want to just annoy her all the time, she probably doesn't even think of me that way.

snapped back to reality when the sound of my phone went off I looked down it was the police station I picked up quickly

Daniel: hey did you find her, please tell me you found her

911: we found her

Daniel: om my god I'm on my way I need to hear her voice can you please just let her say something to me.

911: just, umm get here when you can okay.

Daniel: wait I want to hear her I need to hear her now!!

911: we can talk when you get here

They Hung up on my and I breathed out a breath I didn't even realize I was holding I ran down to the police station as quickly ad I could.

I ran into the station and went to the counter, "where is she!!"

"Im sorry who you need to calm down sir"

"Harper, they calked you said you found her where is she, look"

I git out my phone and pulled out a picture I had taken of her at my place when she was laughing the lady looked then frowned, "oh, Officer Jean 's office is down the hall to right just go sit in there he should be in there in a minute"

I walked quickly where she instructed me and went into the office, where I was greeted by Harper's mom who was in tears She turned and I hugged her, I was starting to het inpatient because all I wanted was to see her or hear her at least something, anything would be great at this point.

Just then the door opened and in stepped, An officer turned and spoke, "where is she, I just ran down as fast I could I want to see her"

He looked at me and sighed then said, "I think you should have a seat Mr.Miller"

"No what where is she"

Her mom tried to sit me down but I didn't want to, "I don't want to sit down I want you to tell me where she is I want you to show me to her"

He sighed, "Mr.Miller, we did find Harper-"

"Then where is she"

"Well that's the thing one of our officers were riding and we got a call from an officer down in Barlow county and they found a body, that matched the description you gave"

Her mom's sobs began to grow I looked at him, "No No No!!"

"Mr.Miller wait, now I don't know for sure if it's her, but it matches everything matches, we need you to come down to the autopsy room and identify the body"

"No I won't because it's not her it can't be her, she's not gone and you and I both know it"

I looked at him and in that moment the tears started to fall and I stormed out I ran and ran until I couldn't run anymore then I fell and stopped I sulked down to the ground and cried,

she was gone and there was nothing I could do to get her back, and it's all my fault.
