Lilian POV:

I get picked up from school by my uncle. I can see the rage in his eyes. He's gripping the steering wheel so tight his knuckles turning white. He stops halfway to the house an empty park. I get anxious and looks down as he grabs a fistful of my hair and pulls it back, then forces my head into the car window. I bite my lip to not scream out in pain even though it's all I want to do. I don't give him that satisfaction. I won't.
He pull my head back and smashes my head down on the dash board. Tears fall as he bust my nose. I start to black out.

I wake up and we're still on the road. I have a bandage on my nose. His stuff, anything I own which is barely anything, in the back.
I look down at my hands as I'm not allowed to look at him. He puts his hand out and two pills in his hand. "Take them." He gripes. I grab them and swallow them not asking questions.

"You were out for two days you useless child. I packed your things! You should thank me!" He griped the steering wheel again. I tense up.

"Thank you sir." I say looking out the window.

"You let one of your bruises show, or something. So the school emailed me. I denied the claims and told them your clumsy. That we're moving to better your education." He continues to drive.

I nod. "You'll start your new school next week, till then your staying at home, with me. You will clean. You will do everything I tell you to because you put yourself in this situation. You forced us to leave. I hope your happy with yourself." He says as he moves one of his hands to my knee. Gripping tight. I wince.

"No friends, no dating. As always. You brat. You should know this now. No one can save you." He says letting go of my knee. Putting his hand back on the steering wheel. I nod again. "Say it!" He yells.
"Yes sir." I rush out so he doesn't get violent again. "Finally learning some respect." He scoffs turning the music on.

———— new town ————

I wake up to see new things. Buildings I've never seen. Stores I've never heard of.

"You've been asleep for 7 hours" He says as he stops the car at a stop light. He then hands me a drink. "Drink this." I smell it slightly noticing it's just water.
I drink it. "Thank you sir." He takes it back from me. Setting it in the cup holder. He drives again till we pull up to a house. It's not big nor small. To any other normal child. It looks like a homey house. One that you can really call a home. To me, it's just the place that will contain pain.
"Grab your stuff and get out of the car." He says. I grab what little I have and exit the car.
I walk behind him as he walks to the door. He opens the door and lets me walk in. Pushing me with his hand on my back. "You take to long.your room is down stares. Mine's upstairs. You know the rules. You aren't aloud up there unless I tell you so." He walks away I guess to go get his stuff. I walk to go find the room I will be staying in. Being a junior is highschool, means I have another year of this torture from him.

I sit on the bed and I look into the bag. I put the clothes in the closet. The closet had built in shelves so I fold my 15 shirts for school, I fold the 5 dresses I have for social events my farther throws, My 4 pairs of jeans, and I put my shoes and socks in the bottom part of the shelf. I close the door.

I walk into the small bathroom and put my shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and razor in the shower/ bath.

I put my sheets on my bed. I hear walking and I sit down looking down. I forgo something.

"You expect me to carry your stuff into the house , after I told you to get everything!" He yells opening the door. He throws my 2 pillows at me. "Ungrateful child!" He screams. "I take care of you. I feed you. I give you things. I let you live in a beautiful house in a beautiful neighborhood. This is how you treat me?" He grabs me by the neck.
