Slashed Tires

Rey's pov:
It has been three years since that fire, I lost everything, my wife and kids. I miss them very much and I don't know how I can live without them. I visit their graves almost every week, I still text my dead wife so I can keep our conversation going. The last thing me and my wife talked about was buying movie tickets because my daughter wanted to watch the new moves. I try not to think about them sometimes but it is so hard not to.

I ley in my bed looking at the right side of me and see an empty space, my wife would sleep on the right side of me, she would hold me tight and sleep peacefully. I turn away form the empty space just to look at the wall, I closed my eyes and just as I was about to go to sleep my phone rang. I picked up my phone just to see an unknown number calling me. "Hello?" I said waiting for an answer, I waited for about a minute or so. "Rey is this you?" It was a voice of a woman. "It's me! AJ!" The girl squealed. "I was just wondering if you could help me, my tire is flat and I need help repairing it." I thought about it for a minute, "Sure it would at least give me something to do." I said with a small chuckle. "Great thanks so much!" Aj hung up. I went down stairs and grabbed my car keys.

(Time laps)

I saw AJ at the end of the street, she had a green shirt on with black shorts. I pulled up behind her and got out of my car. "So witch tire is it?" I asked. "It's the front right tire." she pointed at the flattened tire. "Let me see what I can do, we might need it to be towed off." I look at the flat tire and noticed slash marks, someone slashed her tires. "Some jackasses put a knife in my tires when I was wating here." She sounded angry, I mean I would be angry too if somes random people slashed my tires.

"Tanks for coming Rey I really needed your help." AJ gave me a big hug, she didn't let go of me either. So I gave her one back and she eventually let go. "So...where are you staying for the time being?" I asked. "Oh...no where there is no where to go really." She lools down then pops her head back up, " Could I stay with you?.."
