So maybe we didn't find out right away bit we were sure in for a surprise.
"Um....did we teleport to an army base?" I asked.
What used to be our main hallway was now filled with tables that had guns, knives, etc. and everywhere were people with army uniform. I was seriously starting to believe we teleported.
"Is the school even allowed to have all of these weapons here!" Danny exclaimed.
All of a sudden we heard the beep before Principal Rick make an announcement. "All students,head to the auditorium. I repeat all students head to the auditorium."
So we ended up in the packed auditorium waiting to get explained about what the hell was happening!
Finally Principle Rick appears and clears his throat, "Wow this is going to be a long, strange, unusually important speach."
We all looked at each other and we all had the same face that said confusion.
"Okay let's start with the basics. We will no longer be having class-" he got cut off by screams and applauds, and I might have been one of them.
Hey it's NO school!
Principal Rick again cleared his throught. "Don't get excited, you did not let me finish. We will not be having classes in school however you will be having class somewhere else....."
Okay that's a shocking an announcement but why does this have to involve the army and why can't we take school here?
"Your probably wondering what this have to do with the army and I will soon explain...."
He just read my mind!
"Hm....how will I start this?"he said. He was taking so long that one of the soldiers, I'm guessing the sargeant, took the microphone from him.
"Okay listen up! I'm going to make this as simple as I can. I'm sergeant Roe and might be your sergeant if you decide to join the army after this assembly," he said. "Okay, the continents are no longer....how do I say this, we are no longer in friendly terms. I don't know how this started but I do know that a war is coming, it might be the biggest,or last war we'll experience. However, it's not us against the world it is North and South America, Australia, and Antarctica vs. Europe, Asia, and Africa. We have a fair chance of winning but we need more soldiers that's for sure. So we are going to every high school and looking for soldiers. I know this is a lot to take in but think about it, you will have until Friday. We have tables in the hallway to show you what you will have to grow through. Okay I must be leaving now, further questions or explanations will be given after," and with that he walked off the stage.
