This is an article full of words. Words that have meaning, words that are not to be taken lightly, words that will never be read by my own race; these words will be skipped over by the enslaved minority we call blacks. The precious, black, sharp words of this article will not have the pleasure of hitting the surface of ones' eye, creating an emotion so strong that it remains nameless. The words will not flow like the river on ones' feet, giving comfort to the comfortable; but like sharpened razors hitting the back of a creature immune to pain. The words will not be of hatred, but of cruel, honest, straightforward love. These words will not be felt by all blacks, because we are too lazy and too weak minded to interpret the power of these words. We are comfortable where we are, but those who are not; read these words, let it rip holes through your meager reality, giving light to the truth.

We are lazy and broken in the worst way. We laugh and play our way through life, as if we were born to accomplish nothing at all. The sky is not the limit anymore, it's only a vast space filled with the blind lies of mothers and fathers telling their children they can reach higher heights then they did. They speak words that crack once it hits the air. Knowing their telling lies, they still fill the ears of their new life, hoping to better them. They talk without action, preach hypocritically, and expect one to follow their expectations.

Parents have the ability to shape their child's life. It only takes time and undivided attention. Mothers and fathers have wronged their children for years. They try to teach their kids, but they let them stay out all night and sleep in the house all day. They have not taught them the importance of their young life; instead, they let the hood do it. The hood shapes a child like a steel plate being stamped by a hot press, just in a slower and harsher process. Parents fail to realize though. Their trained to think they control their kids by telling them what to do, how to do it, and how to act. Speaking is powerful, but it can't shape a child. A parent has to lead by example and follow what they preach.

Talking without action is as effective as telling a nonbeliever to have faith. You can speak to a child all day, but if you don't practice what you preach it means nothing. You can't smoke weed and tell your child not to. You can't yell and cuss at your child, telling them to stop cussing. They will only be confused and secretly raise themselves, or find someone else to raise them. Parents open their kids' mind to the streets. A parent will bring their kids to church and praise the lord, and live a different life at home. Then they'll ask themselves why their kids are turning out the way they are. The answer is; they have no moral standing. Mothers and fathers tell their kids right from wrong. Some of them do a solid job at that. But it's not enough to tell your child what's right. You have to indulge yourself in showing your child how to act and present themselves. Being a part-time parent is the worst thing you can be for your child. If you're not actively spending time in the development of your child, then you should not speak. Speaking should be backed by actions. Please don't teach your child to be something they can't look up to you to be. A child must be better than their parents, but if the environment is nothing but contradictions of what their told to be; how will they learn to be what their expected to be? Parents can't teach a child in a house full of contradictions, but their unaware of what they do. I'm saying this to teach the parents. View these words as insight and not criticism; for I'm only a seventeen year old kid that means no wrong.
