Zero looked up in alarm and (Y/N) let go of Zero's hair, swiping her knife off the floor. She then looked to see who had stopped them from fighting; that's when she noticed the few other killers gathered there; she remembered them from the picture.
(Y/N) felt a bit nervous, feeling the eyes of all the killers resting on her. It was as if Zero wasn't there; they were all just focused on staring at (Y/N). She was an outsider, someone who they've never seen before.
The one who had stopped their fight, a man with neatly combed dark brown hair wearing a tan jacket, gloves, and a white mask approached (Y/N), his arms crossed. "Stand down, Zero," he sneered at the girl as she had tried sneaking up on (Y/N) again, but she backed off at the man's command.
"You. Aren't you the new recruit?" he questioned coldly, looking back down at (Y/N). (Y/N) nodded her head quickly and murmured lowly, "Yeah, I am."
"Then come with me. It's a shame you've just gotten here and you've already gotten in a fight with one of them," he said, turning from (Y/N) and beginning to walk across to the other side of the living room. "S'cuse me, but that woman and this other dude were the ones who threatened me first-"
"Don't wanna hear it. You walk into a house of killers as a newbie, so what'd you expect? Get used to it."
She was taken aback by the harshness in his words, but she only frowned and followed behind him quietly. He wasn't wrong, so why bother arguing? The others killers in the room eyed her with dark, narrowed eyes making her uncomfortable. (Y/N) quickened her pace behind the masked man as he lead her to a room far on the other side, near the kitchen area.
He opened the door and stepped aside for (Y/N) to walk in first. The room was very dark and she almost tripped when she stepped forwards not realizing there were steps. (Y/N) quickly caught herself and slowly descended down the stairs; the masked man closed the door behind them and followed her.
Once at the bottom, (Y/N) saw a dimly lit room with weapons and other items lined up against the walls. There were human dummies, chains, punching bags, all sorts of things used for combat. (Y/N) even noticed stains of blood on different areas of the floor.
"Training room?" (Y/N) guessed, looking to the masked man. He only nodded as he made his way over to a switch and flipped it up, causing more lights to turn on in the room. (Y/N)'s eyes squinted tightly from all the bright lights, and she tried to look around more as best as she could.
At the back of the room, she noticed three other figures standing there, looking at her and the masked man. Opening her eyes a bit more, she noticed Slenderman was there, his hands folded behind his back as he looked to them.
"You attend your first training day in your nightclothes? What a pity," He said, gliding up to her and looking down upon her. "What? But I don't have any other clothes and......" she began, but her voice trailed off as she figured she had nothing really to say to defend herself, he would just find a way to prove her wrong anyways.
"She came downstairs fighting with Zero for a knife..." the masked man said, shaking his head, "she looks to me like one of those pastas...."
"She isn't," The Slenderman said "so far she has kept a decent attitude and has been respectful to me, following my demands. So I wouldn't consider her one like Zero or Jeff or the ones who like starting things."
(Y/N) smirked a bit at hearing this. "Give her some time here, she might end up just like them," The masked man growled and he then walked away from them to the the two other people in the back of the room.
Ok. That guy clearly doesn't like me. What an ass...
Slenderman motioned for (Y/N) to follow and he led her to the other two behind the masked man. (Y/N) stayed close behind Slenderman as she looked at the two; they both looked back at her, but she couldn't tell their expressions because most, if not all of their face was covered by gear.
One of them wore dark blue jeans and a yellow hoodie with the hood over their head and a black ski mask with an upset face stitched on it that covered their real face. The other wore darker gray jeans with two hatchets latched to their sides and a grayish-brown stripe armed hoodie. They had brown hair and orange goggles that covered their eyes and a black face mask covering their mouth. Whilst they stood, they would twitch or jolt suddenly, emitting a painful sounding 'crack' from their joints.
As Slenderman approached them, they faced him with attention, their posture showing that they respected his authority. "You three. This is my newest follower, (Y/N) (L/N), aka 'The Walker'" Slenderman began, pushing (Y/N) in front of him, "you will train beside her and teach her the ways of a proxy, whether it be under the Influence or not. You will treat her like you do the other killers under this roof. You will defend her as you defend each other, and by no circumstance will you be allowed to harm her in any way. Is this understood?"
"Yes sir," The yellow hooded one said, dipping his head to Slenderman. The other killer next to him, the one with the hatchets, tilted his head while he examined (Y/N) curiously. "She doesn't look like us Slender. Are you sure you wanted this one to be your proxy?" He questioned, his voice sounding very unimpressed. "She has potential. Don't question me Toby..." The Slenderman growled, placing a hand on (Y/N)'s shoulder, "She will do well here."
"Eh... I'll do my best. I'm not trying to be a burden. If you accept me, I'll show you what I can do," (Y/N) spoke up with a shrug. The male with the hatchets glared at her a bit more shrugging as well and giving a small sigh. He reached out his hand to her and said, "My names' Ticci Toby, but you can just call me Toby. I'm ready to see what it'll be like working beside y-you."
(Y/N) smiled a bit at this and took his hand shaking it. "Nice to meet you Toby, I'm ready to see what it will be like working beside you too."
"(Y/N). My name is...well my alias is Hoodie. I'm looking forwards to working beside you as well," The man with the yellow hoodie said, reaching out for her hand too. (Y/N) nodded her head and shook his hand after Toby, greeting him the same way. She then turned to the masked man and hesitantly held out her hand to him.
"You..." She breathed out , "I hope that you'll accept me too. I honestly don't wanna be a burden or anything to you guys..."
The masked man looked her up and down a bit before giving a small sigh and taking her hand lightly, shaking it. "Then I'll expect only the best of you while you're training here with us. My alias is Masky," he said. (Y/N) nodded and tried to make her smile as kind-ish as possible before letting go of his hand. The Slenderman nodded to this, seemingly pleased with their introduction and he turned around, beginning to head out of the 'underground' training area.
"I expect you four to get started right away. I want a report of all that has happened here when I return. Remember, she is new. Take your time and help her along the way. I am counting on you, my Proxies!" He said before going and ascending up the steps.
"Yes sir!" All three proxies chime together and (Y/N) gives a slight chuckle at their matching salute. When the sound of the door closing rang throughout the training room, (Y/N) turned back to the three, her heart beginning to race a bit faster.
Here she was, the time has come. Her training will now begin; she will start the journey to become a proxy of Slenderman. She discouraged becoming a disappointment, and she didn't want to anger Slenderman and his followers. She wanted to be just like them, she wanted to fit in. She wanted badly to walk into that living room without them staring at her with hostile eyes.
All of those thoughts lit a fire inside of (Y/N). She was going to have to work hard to get what she wanted; acceptance. She grinned at this, she was ready for the challenge, ready to become like one of them. And she would do whatever it takes to become that way. Her eyes brightened a bit as she looked at the three gathered Proxies, a new confidence forming within.
"So.." she began, a small twinge of excitement building up inside her, "where do we begin?"
