Ch.13: They're so Impatient

~~~Jacob's point of view~~~

I'm so glad I have Lexi back! But I need to get back on track. You see, apparently I killed a vampire's mate awile back and now she wants to settle the score. Lexi is in extreme danger. And now that she know about the wolve she's in even more danger. When the scent comes back and we find a trail, I'll make sure lexi has eyes on her at all times.Sam's Limited my patrol time so that I can watch her as often as possible. I feel really bad cuz this is all my fault. It's gonna kill her to be cramped up in the house for days. Alot of times she just likes to get out. But we're not taking any chances. I'll tell her as soon as we pick up the scent, but I wont have her worried until we do.

~~~Lexi's point of view~~~

I wake up feeling rested and content. I havent felt like this scence before Jake broke up with me. I walk downstairs still in my pj's to go eat some breakfast. When I walk into the living room I see Embry , Quill, and Jake lounging around watchin tv. I grab a piece of toast and go and sit by Jake.

Jacob- "Morning sleeping beauty."

Lexi- *yawn* "morning"

Jacob- "YOu sleep well?"

Lexi- "Yeah. I was just cold cuz i kicked my covers off in the middle of the night while i was asleep."

Jacob-"Welll I think i could've helped warmed you up" he says while putting his arms around me.

Embry- "Jake." He says sternly.

Jacob- "Calm down. I was just kidding."

Quil- "Sure you were, Jake"

Embry- "Hey Lexi, We're all gonna go over to Sam's later. You wanna come?"

Lexi- "Is Emily cooking?"

Embry- "Yeah"

Lexi- "Sure, I'll come. When are we leaving?"

Embry- "Whenever."

Lexi- "Okay." I say while I walk upstars to get ready. I change(^^^), fix my hair, put on some makeup, and walk downstairs. "Lets go guys." I say while I walk outside.

Jacob- "Now?"

Lexi- "Yes now. Don't you want to eat?"

they all run and jump into Jacob's truck. I walk to the truck taking my sweet time.

Quil- "Lexi! Hurry up! I want food!"

Lexi- "Okay." I say while laghing as i sit next to Jake.

We drive to Sam's and as we walk in i see that everyone else is here.

Jared- "FINNALY!!! YOUR HERE!!!!"

Lexi- "Woah! Why so yelly?"

Paul- "Emily made us wait till you got here so we wouldn't eat all the food."

Lexi- "Thanks Emily. You are a saint!"

Emily- "Your welcome. If the guys ever got thier food before you i think you would starve."

Lexi- "Yeah, Me too."

I walk as slow as possible to the food.

Lexi- "Hmm...what does Lexi want to eat this morning? Eggs? No. Bagle? Nah. Oh! Waffles! No. Hmm...Oh! I kno-"

Guys- "LEXI!"

Lexi- "Fine! I'll get a muffin! Sheesh." I grab a muffin and run before I get trampled.

After they all got thier food they sat at the table. Jake and seth sat on either side of me. They scarfed down their full plates and went back for more.
