I register for the Music Club. Wenjun seems surprised having seen me registering for the club. '' Im surprised you're here, anyway welcome! ''

I fake a smile and reply shortly, '' Yeah, thanks, '' I take a glance secretly on Zhengting and it comes to my surprise that our eyes met. I should've feel excited that I manage to grab his attention but I don't. I don't understand why is he acting like he never know me and it hurts indeed. His eyes seems like communicating with me, trying to convey thousands of words, unspeakable words. But I shift my gaze away, feeling hurt.

TIME SKIPS..

Its raining heavily this morning, sending shivers down my spine as Im feeling cold terribly. I cover myself with the blanket instead of waking up and preparing for my morning class. I decide to sleep more but to no avail as my alarm rings, signalling me to wake up. I get up from my bed lazily and turn off the annoying alarm. I look out of the window, its gonna be winter soon in London. I suddenly miss my family so much.

Mom and Lawrence. Im reminisced by how Lawrence and I would have snow fights with our neighbours and the loser would buy some candies for the winner. How I miss the good old days with my family but here I am alone in this foreign country where loneliness strikes. I let out a deep sigh.

'' What's with the sigh? '' Xuanyi who just comes into the room breaks my thought. '' Nothing, '' I reply shortly. I take a look at Xuanyi. She seems a lot more cheerful these days and she seems to smile a lot. Is it because of Zhengting?

'' Xuanyi, '' I call out her name when she's brushing her hair. '' Yes? ''

'' You look happier these days, is there anything special? '' She stops brushing her hair and is trying to hide her smile. She then sits on my bed, next to me before asking. '' What made you think so? ''

'' You smile a lot lately, unlike your usual self, ''

She looks at me carefully, '' I think I've fallen in love, ''

Short sentences but I know my heart comes crushing upon hearing her reply. I know this. I better know this. '' With whom? '' I ask foolishly. A silence fall for a few seconds before she replies confidently, '' Zhu Zhengting, ''

Just as I expected. I bit my inner cheek hard to resist me from letting any tears slide down my cheek before mustering up a courage to speak up, '' That's good... Im..you both..perfectly suits each other, ''

She looks at me with glimmering eyes and hugs me tight, '' Really? Thanks! ''

And I know its the moment to stop. Stop fantasizing that Zhengting will be mine. His heart belongs to someone else, not me. Im just a foolish who believes that I was the one owning his heart after going out on dates with him, after sharing a few kisses with him. Come to think of it, there's no proclamation of love occurring between us. He didn't confess anything. Why am I so stupid? My chest is hurting, remembering that this is just a one-sided love after all...

And I pat her back gently.

Its past 1 pm and Im waiting for Wenjun for an outing. A few days ago, he asked me to accompany him to buy some music instruments for the music club and I gladly accepted his invitation, making Tzuyu to tease me how Wenjun and I were likely to be a couple soon.

I heard footsteps and tilt my head. Its Wenjun and...a few other student council members. I thought only both of us are going out? I look pass his back and see Cheng Xiao, You Zhangjing, Zheng Ruibin, Xuanyi and....Zhengting.

'' Sorry to keep you waiting, we had a brief meeting just now, '' Wenjun explained. I smile a little and seeing that Im confused to the presence of the other members, he explains further, '' Its supposed to be me and you but yeah, Zhangjing wants to go out to fill his snack box, Cheng Xiao and Ruibin have to do a survey and the other two, I dont know, ''

Zhangjing then comes next to him and smacks his head, '' Eiii, the other two wants to go for a date, obviously! Why you so clueless? '' I can sense Xuanyi's blushing. '' Its not a date, we just need some fresh air, '' Xuanyi comes to defend while Zhengting remains silence.

Wenjun notices that Im a bit uncomfortable and wraps his hand around my shoulder. He whispers, '' Let's go, '' I swear I saw how Zhengting looks hurt when he saw us...but why.. I shrug the thought off and nods to Wenjun. All of us then get on the rapid bus.

Fortunately, there's only a long seat at the back of the bus that can only fit the six of us. '' Zhangjing, you need to stand, there's no way you can fit sitting between us, '' Cheng Xiao playfully teases him, making him pouts before replying, '' I swear I'll diet! Don't underestimate me, bitch! ''

Cheng Xiao rolls her eyes, '' Says someone who skips classes just to sneak out for hai di lao! '' Zhangjing gives her a death glare and sticks out his tongue. They are all laughing except for two person, Zhengting and I. I am sitting between Wenjun and Zhengting but that's not the point! I place my hand on the empty space between Zhengting and I just to feel his hand above mine. My whole body is stiffened. I look at our intertwines hands in secret, hoping that it isn't real. But it is real.
