All the way there

Zoe's POV

I'm currently looking around from a tree. I climbed ut from the purpose to see if there's a village or a town nearby. But I got lost in the panorama of the surroundings. It's just breathtaking.Chris down below me was almost screaming at me cause I forgot to respond. ,,ZOE!..ZOE!... EARTH CALLS ZOE!!!! DAMN IT RESPOND!!!!" I snapped out of my thoughts and said : ,,Yes! There's a smaller town nearby on the south-west!"I shouted. I climbed down and took the compass. After locating the (probably) south-west side we started walking.  After a good while of walking my stomach growled. I blushed and said: ,,Heheh, I think I'm hungry." 'This is so akward.' I thought. Chris chuckled a little bit and said:,, Then let's find something to eat." And then we started to look around. Soon I saw somethig in the bushes. I walked closer and saw......STRAWBERRIES!!!!! I love strawberries!! I looked behind me and saw that Chris found something behind a huge bush of something. ,, Did you find strawberries too?" I asked. He chucled and said : ,,No, But I found some blackberries. Did you ever ate blackberries?" To be honest I never really ate them maybe in my childhood but I don't remember eating them in the past years. ,,Umm, No I didn't." He came closer and handed me some of them. I put a berry in my mouth and it tasted.... Good. I ate them fast cause some if them were sour. When I ate a sour one Chris almost died from laughter because I looked like I ate a whole lemon.  So we spend about twenty minutes with eating and laughing. Then we started walking to the town.

In the town Chris told me that here somewhere must be a weapon shop. I looked t him a bit confused.' We have a  big ass sword isn't it enough?' I thought. 'But having something like a ...bow isn't a really bad idea.' I thought again. I went to archery class in my childhood. ,,And... Umm why do you need more weapons? " I asked. ,,Well you know...just because. And we never know what is lurking in the shadows. It's just more safe." He explained. I nodded and we went to the shop. It didn't looked so big on the outside but inside it was huge. Weapons of every kind were hanged on the walls. But there were some armors, clothes and much more. Chris talked to the owner and led me to see the bows. They were beautiful. Strong bows of everykind and decorated with ornamens. I think they represented the powers. Because on some bows were only white ornaments and on some bows were only red or blue or purple an so on. One caught my eye. It was a bow made out of brighter brown wood and with white ornaments. It was just interesting. ,,I like this one." I said. He smiled and said ,, Nice choose." Chris paid for them and we headed through the town.
As we arrived to the forest I told Chris that I want to practise a little. He nodded and we started practicing. I was really good for the firsttime in six years. ,,Wow,  I thought that you'll be worse." He chuckled.,,Haha. Thank you." I walked back to Chris and we stated walking along.
