Surgery and Recovery

Tomorrow came faster than I expected. They preped me for it and sedated me. I slowly fell asleep. I don't know how long I was out but I woke up back in my room with my leg raised. When the doctor came in I immediately asked what has been on my mind since I woke up. 

"Will I be able to gymnastics again?" I asked 

I"We had to put metal rods in your foot so you have to go through physical therapy. After that we will see if you can go back into gymnastics." The doctor said

The next few weeks I was on crutches all day everyday except for when I was at P.T. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The last P.T session came. I did the normal routine and after that I went to the doctors to see if I need more P.T sessions or not. 

"Your foot is fully healed so you don't need the crutches anymore. You can go back to gymnastics but only do easy stuff. Just until the foot gets used to all the pressure again. Then build your way up." He said

 You don't know how happy I was to hear that I can get rid of the crutches but, I was sad that I had to stay away from the skills I have been wanting to do. After the appointment I decided to visit my team to tell them the good news. When I got there I wish I didn't go in the first place because...
