as her tears fall on to the paper, smudging the writing, her hand moved faster.
echos bounce off the walls.
she writes faster.
i can tell they're mad. they've never fought like this before
silence.
i think dad left. i don't know what to do.
sobs fill the emptiness
in the empty house.mom won't stop crying,
even with her door closed, and her headphones on.
i can still hear her.
