I'm at my brothers house sitting holding their baby. "So (Y/N) you know you can tell us anything right? So why can't you do magic around us anymore?" I froze at his questions I looked up at him slowly and whispered the reversal spell. Lily looked at me shocked and took the baby to his crib, when she was done she glanced over at me and whispered something to James, he just nodded in response. I heard what she said and got up and walked to the door but not before saying, "Have Harry spend the night at my house on Halloween, I would like to spend some quality time with my nephew." James simply responded with I will and I love you.
I walked the streets of Diagon Alley I numbed into none other than my best friend Severus. "Hey Sexy" I whisper in his ear, he just rolled his eyes and turned around and hugged me. I knew he had a crush on Lily but I didn't care I love him. "What are you doing here I thought you were visiting your brother and Lily?" When he said Lily he looked sad, I just looked at him with tears in my eyes, "I lifted the spell on them they remember who I am, 'The all powerful witch who could* destroy Voldemort in a heartbeat, the one who doesn't need a wand' Lily whispered to James 'We have to leave Harry at (Y/N)'s to keep him safe, I'm afraid something bad will happen to him.' I'm scared Severus he just pulled me into his chest and rubbed my back to comfort me. I looked up at him and kissed him. As soon as it happened was as soon as it ended, I opened my eyes and he looked furious and disappointed, he just shoved me and walked away. "What happened" I whispered as I collapsed to the floor crying, not only did I lose the person I love but I also lost my best friend.
*even though you would be able to you can't you and your powers are tied to him. You can't kill him or you kill yourself, which might I include you have tried multiple times, but James always comes and stops you. You have decided to stop and lock almost all but the common abilities other wizards have.
