"Today is the day",I whispered to myself.
"Sweeeeeeeeeetumsssssss.....please come downstairs",my mum called out.
"What for!",I replied.
"For your breakfast dumbass",my sister jeered at me.
"You don't call your little sister dumbass,Treena",my mum reprimanded my sister.
I went downstairs and told my mum that I wasn't exactly 'little' anymore and kicked my sister's butt for mocking me.And of course, my dutiful mother used her motherly instincts to show me the right way life and that was ,not to kick my sister but to live together harmoniously.
All was going well at the breakfast table except for my dad's occasional nasty farts, when Treena and mum squealed together in unison and my dad joined in.
It was then that I noticed that my family was staring into the laptop screen,all of them had this wierd expression on their faces , as if they couldn't believe what they were looking at. So, I walked over to them and when I looked into the screen, even I couldn't believe what I was looking at. Then at the top of my voice I said,
"SOMEBODY PINCH ME PLEASE!!!".
Actually the screen showed that I had got into one of the finest university in the world, and that was Stanford university. The semester started from the 5th of April and the email said that they expected me no later than the 3rd of April. I had already started packing and it was only the 2nd of March. I was so very excited that I kept bouncing on my toes and sang my favourite song.
I AM so very sorry dumplings,I know this is a very short chapter but believe me my chapters will keep getting longer..till then bah bye..😉
