"What? A meeting with Park Jimin?" you stuttered and you could barely breathe.
You staired at your co-worker Sarah who was sitting at the table next to you. She looked at you and was just as shocked as you.
"Yes, he invited you and also a few other people. I don't know what the topic will be about but he said it's important" the assistant in front of you said in a calm voice.
You stared into nothing. A meeting with Park Jimin would mean sitting in there, sweating and being under pressure. It meant hell. He was the boss of your team and you saw him every day since he was in the same office room as the whole team. But you barely talked to him, anyone barely did. He was working as your boss for almost a year now and you were there since day one. Jimin was by far the worst boss you've ever had. He only spoke when he had to complain about the lack of his workers' motivation. And it hit you the most. Even though you worked your ass off all the time, he'd end up yelling at you. Sometimes you weren't quite sure why he was complaining to you, it seemed like he just did that sometimes out of boredom. His voice was really rough and loud, it would send shivers down your spine every single time.
"Why the fuck aren't you doing what I am telling you to do? Do you wanna get punished? Is that it?" he yelled at you right in front of every other co-worker in the office. You weren't quite sure if you felt hot rushes on every inch of your body because you were scared of getting fired or if it was because his voice actually turned you on.
The assistant looked at you waiting for a response but you blacked out. You couldn't imagine what it'd be like preparing stuff for the meeting and fucking it up. Jimin got angry at stuff like that easily. And in the end you didn't want to lose your job so you had to rethink this.
"Why me?" you finally asked the assistant.
"Don't ask me. I just have to invite you and ask if you're going. I need the answer now so I can give you the papers with all the things you have to prepare" she said and had a cold smile set up.
Sarah looked over to you and whispered "Damn, Y/N. You have to go, otherwise he'll probably fire you. Maybe if you do a good job, he may finally stop yelling at you."
She was right. This was my opportunity to show him that I actually do your things correctly. To proof him that you worked your ass off.
"Yeah, I mean I have no choice, right?" your eyes still weren't focused but as soon as you heard a loud crash of paper on your desk you jumped up.
The assistant placed a whole bunch of stuff on the top of your desk and said "Good. Then please finish all of this stuff to be prepared. The meeting is tomorrow at 9 am in the conference room number 4. See you there."
And she walked out of the office. You couldn't believe your eyes and Sarah stood up to come to your table.
"Y/N... You're screwed" she whispered.
You shook your head and almost started crying. How could Jimin give you all of this? And plus to finish it by tomorrow?
"Sarah, I am screwed" you repeated and buried your face in your hands.
Sarah bowed over you and grabbed you by the shoulders. "I'll help you out. Either way I don't have much going on right now. We can do it." As she said that she took her office chair and sat down next to you. She took the bunch of paper and started looking through it and she stated "It's a lot but it isn't difficult. If we start now we'll finish by afternoon."
